Factory Refurbished laptops vs Brand New

A quick review in the comparison of a factory refurbished Lenovo vs. Brand New.
From our review we found out the cosmetic condition were identical, the price difference of 35% between the two.

Lots of comments saying pay the extra and get the new one. It's STILL a lottery.
I bought a new ultrabook (Dell XPS 13), kept it in immaculate condition, used it only moderately. One day it just stopped powering up. In one day from perfect to nothing. The only out of warranty repair Dell can offer me is I pay them for a refurbished motherboard. They get to keep the original motherboard as part of the contract. So in the end my 'bought new' laptop is going to be a refurbished one.
(What they will do with the original motherboard is anyone's guess - probably apply an easy fix and sell another device at huge profit)

Great video, Monica... Impressive Refurbished laptop. Missing the licensing sheet though... Also for $200, I would most certainly go for the new one... a 35% discount for something that has been used for years (hinge, SSD wear, keys, etc.) doesn't cut it.

@@ariefsyahrizal3645 sometimes, if you buy a factory refurbished it should be a new laptop with an open box, probably it got a bad memory or hard drive , but it pass a lot of test so you should not worry about the quality , if you buy refurbished be sure it was an original factory job and you will be good.

Get refurbished if you're on a budget. And you need a computer, like ASAP. I would get a new comp if you're willing to wait and save money and you're OCD about having things nitty tiddy. Lol
