I'm glad I made this test and want to say FREEWELL make the best drone filters but I wasn't happy, watch the video to see why - remember it's my opinion
That’s one thing about you Shaun you have good patience to fiddle about with these filters, you’re not on your own I think we’re all the same especially with the DJI 03 air unit that’s on the Avata series 1 & 2. The ND filter set I have for the Avata 1 are magnetic and are a pig to remove! Keep up the good work.👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you Brian, glad I'm not the only one with filters- something I hardly use but important to mention. Wish they was built it - be so much better :)
Hey Shaun - nice vid! - Bit difficult to tell, but that UV filter seems to have a slightly different way of fitting than the ND filters that I demoed in my last vid. Personally with the odd lens flare I'm happy to keep a filter on just to protect from scratches of the main lens should I have a crash (which is inevitable - You've seen how I fly! 🤣🤣) + it makes it look like JJ Abrams made the video 😂 Really looking forward to your take on the ND filters! All the best! 🐏🐑🖖
Interesting, the only filiters I ever used were Polarising ones but mainly just to protect the lens from dust especially on them mini drones but I could still fit the cover over them afterwards without having the filiter off, in the case of this one I don't think the cover will fit with that filter on. Anyway just got my Avata 2 but because of the rubbish weather here in UK will have to wait a few days before I can try it out. Had to order that controller 3 seperatly and that will take a couple of weeks to come, never used that stick controller not even on their first FPV drone but will give it a go on this one, at least this one is supposed not to fall out the the sky when doing manual rolls unlike their first avata which I gave a miss. It's a nice compact light drone should be good for some close in stuff around cliffs and bundle price was ok too.
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for your comment. You're going to love the Avata 2, having so much fun - hopefully the weather will be better soon and make the most of it :)

Thank you, my All Day pack from FREEWELL is the same for some reason - I just gave up trying to fit it but I may live to regret it later :)

Many thanks for watching Jesus.
Using a NDPL filter, my opinion improves the video quality, it gives motion blur , and PL stops glare in bright sun , using manual camera settings.
Many thanks for the info and thanks for watching.
