- News 6 anchor and health reporter Kirstin O’Connor spoke with Mikha’el “Mikey” Portillo, two months after he underwent two major surgeries in his transition from female to male.
Damn, that transition is really great. I hope he lives a great life.

I guess it’s painful to see what trans ppl go through, like you can’t wish that on anyone, much less a family member, even after affirmative surgery it’s a life long condition that requires costly therapy medication and surgeries, life could be so simple. PD being infertile is a disability that the government doesn’t want to be responsible for causing
Another issue is pushing kids to transition.

I had a professor taking points from my attendance because I came back late fron breaks... it was a 4 hour class with 1 break of 15 minutes. It took 10 minutes each way to get to the gender neutral toilet fron the classroom, and usually there was a line to use it because it was the only one in the building. I had straight As before this class. I sent him an email explaining the situation after he also questioned me about my name change situation, and I ended up getting a C even though I aced every test. This was before the pandemic and I'm still mad about it.
Speak to the dean about your grade.
I know I would feel better in my own skin if I had top surgery. I’ve felt male all my life. I’m 58 right now.

@@FrostNuke it's not about "feeling" a gender. Your brain literally develops similarly to the sex that does not match your genitalia. It's a male brain in a female body, and vice versa. Scientifically, it's not about feeling. But not everyone is proficient in advanced biology, genetics, and neuroscience. So that's how they explain what's happening from their conscious perspective.

There is no medical/scientific basis for this (anymore.) No genetics testing, no brain scans, nothing. All that is required is a declaration in front of a complict head shrink.

I know deep down in ever little girl is little girl preparing to be a future mother. I remember reading about a 15-year-old girl who was doing a talk in class. She remembered some years before when she was 12 talking with some transgender boys, she told them that when she was a little girl, her and her female Junior high school friends. all played with baby dols she went round the school asking quiet a few transgenders boys if they when they were little boys ever played with baby dolls. not a single one of them said they had. but they did play with tucks. and cars and male dolls .
