My sisters and I were just up at Damon Point last week. We loved it there. We collected lots of Jasper's, including the poppy Jasper and Agates and one little conch shell. A beautiful beach for sure.

That's awesome! It's not all about the agates, jasper and pet wood, the views, sound of the waves is worth going on its own!

I love going to Damon point for the shells. I am obsessed with shells, but your agates are pretty darn cool. I look forward to your other videos!

Nice finds! I loved the shell finds and the green jasper! That is really beautiful! Im not used to the Washington beaches. Im from Oregon so our beaches im used to. The little carnelian with the banding was super pretty. But i just ran across your channel and thought i would support by subscribing. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much, I appreciate it! Oregon and Washington are both great, just for different reasons. That little agate is nice, very well defined banding. Love finding those. I will do, thank you again!

Yeah you're right, I know exactly where you're talking about. This trip just happened to be mostly small ones. The last time I went out there, I found some nice bigger ones!

What a cool day of rockhounding and shell hunting you had! Great finds! The orbicular "Poppy" Jaspers at 8:26 and 21:25 are awesome! I rarely find much of that material down here on the southern Oregon Coast. If you ever want to do a rock trade for that stuff let me know. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

Thank you very much! It certainly was, I love being out rockhounding. Never know what you'll find! Yeah that type of jasper seems to be quite unique to WA, I might be wrong on that but I only find it on WA beaches. I honestly likely wouldn't do a lot of trades, I really enjoy having my finds and their "story" of where I found it, how I found etc, that's part of the fun for me. I do appreciate the offer! More adventures coming very soon.

I've got a lot of that poppy jasper from west haven beach, in West Port.

That's awesome! Do you tumble yours or leave it natural?

Heel moi agaten! Do you find sea glass on that beach? Because that piece at 3:22 reminds me of sea glass.

Dankjewel, ik waardeer het! I find some small pieces here. There's quite a few I didn't show, other than the couple pieces of green I did show, I found some brown pieces. They're just pretty small overall. But I'll document it more next time I'm out here, or anywhere.

I went there today. I a a total newbies. Very little gravel. I may have been in wrong place. I started at was the state park. Is there a better place to start?

If you look at Damon Point on Google Maps, you generally walk the bottom of the Point, not the top, if that helps at all.
The gravel "travels", sometimes it's in one spot sometimes another. I usually walk the whole length of it finding where it's at today. It's quite a walk, between 2-3 miles to the end.
Hopefully you have better luck next time!
