Only then you mat blanch them if required.

Is the Tomato Sauce used in the video any different than canned tomato sauce in the USA? That is to ask, is tomato the only ingredient or is this something more akin to Indian Ketchup? Same question for the chili sauce. Are there substitutes for these sauces for us who are unfamiliar with localized ingredients. Thank you
Tomato sauce or tomato ketchup, and Chili sauce, you can get from any Asian shop in the world. Or use red paprika mild or hot your choice. No Chili sauce, you can use paprika, little lemon juice and little sugar or honey. Small tips. Always taste salt and soy sauce can be very salty. After that you're a champ 😁

We used Everest Kashmiri red chili powder for color. Colour is secondary, Never use any chemical food colors.
