Hi FT you must be one tired farmer you have had a lot to deal with im sure your cows are very grateful for the care you give them! People who don’t understand farming there is so much that goes into it,and a lot of money to all that medicine is not cheap, well not to worry you know your animals and that is all that counts hope your truck keeps working! take care from Ontario.

Hi Tyler, it doesn't matter about what people say about how you run your farm. You run it how you intend to run it, it is your farm and no one else's. One farmer does not work like the next farmer. You know your cattle and YOU do what is best for them. You are not one to think about your time, you think about how your cattle can benefit and if everything is alright with them. It is YOUR business to run as YOU want to. You make the decisions and you have studied for it. You would always to the best for the little one with pink eye in both eyes, and many people will agree with what you have decided, it is the best for the little one, and I know you will keep an eye on all of them. You collecting hay is all part of your work and, personally, I love watching all that you do. Keep your humour too, you did that loading very quick. 😄
❤ It's always a pleasure to watch you. Imagine no 4-wheelers n you had to do all that work bye horseback. Makes you wonder how they did it all back then. Great video, your a Great Rancher. See ya next time.
Only thing I do different is repeat dose of antibiotics in 48hours for the double problem eye calves. Seems to really speed the process up. Also, ever since I got religious about keeping high quality loose mineral out free choice, I have had WAY less issues. Just my .02. Great looking calves.
I’m behind on your videos as I’ve been sick, but I’m happy to be back. Great job on getting all three of your jobs done, despite the odd difficulty. ♡♡♡
We have been keeping a few head of cattle for 7 years now and haven't had any pink eye. I am sure its coming. I don't really know what to do if we do have any cases. I appreciate watching how you deal with it. Helps me not be totally in the dark.
Hi, farmer Tyler. I'm a wannabe farmer. I watch all your videos that pink eye it's no good, but it looks like if you keep on top of it, it will clear up two beautiful dogs you got, good luck and God bless you and your family from across the pond in Great Britain

Good job working and treating the calves. No matter the experience, each situation can bring new challenges. Always a learning curve, I know from experience.
Thank you for showing your treatment protocol for pinkeye. It is similar to how we deal with it here. We have mainly Herefords and simmental and the ratio of pinkeye is about 50/50. I hear the "wives tale" about white faced cattle getting pinkeye more often all the time but I agree with you.....
In the past I've vaccinated my 20 or so cows and it seems to have worked well. It was $2 per shot. Used to be able to get it as TSC. Worth it in my opinion. Big fan of your channel, keep up the great work!!
I’m sorry you have so much pinkeye this year. But very glad to see stay on top of it. I think you do a very good job with your animals and farm have a good weekend. It’s going to be hot. Yuck.
11:30 take a white out pen and write 19mm on the side of that sternum thingy. So you'll know what size before you go to the toolbox. White out pen sticks to stick to most surfaces and doesn't wear off easily and white on that rusty metal will be easy to see. 💖🌞🌵😷
Don't worry about what we think; you have been in this business a long time, and you know what is best for your cattle. I'm an older guy who used to watch the early western movies, where about 25 cowboys would herd cattle on horseback. You put those cowboys to shame by herding them on foot. As always, a fine video, Tyler.
I enjoy your videos. We have property in Mexico so I travel for the Bay Area about every month. Today I had to use your round up technique to move rouge cows of our land. Found a rake the had a orange head. Used it like your thing.
Last year was the bad eye year for our locale. Just a few hours north of ya. This year has been surprisingly good so far. Only had to treat two calves this season, but I calve in February so I think that helps a bit.
if the truck is a diesel engine you may want to consider upgrading the wiring to the batteries and the alternator and to the ground wires too. Since the Diesel uses more power and the wires need to be upgraded to help with the needed power.
Well, as this is the "Year of the Pinkeye", you have the great new Arrowquip chute with the built-in head restraint! Do you find these eye infections peak at the same time as fly pressure does?
I have a question Farmer Tyler. I was wondering if you could ever catch pink eye from your calves while treating them? It might sound silly but this whole order is very interesting to me. Your a fabulous Farmer Tyler & you take excellent care of your cattle. I'm very impressed!! Once again thank you for all the time it takes you to film this to share all this with all of us! It's greatly appreciated!
Tyler I watch your videos all the time. I live in southern indiana. We farm and have heard of cattle. When we have severe pink eye we mix 1cc of penicillin and 1 cc of la 200 then 1 cc in inner upper eyelid and 1 in the inner lower eyelid. We know what it is to fight pinkeye

I'm in Kentucky and LA200 hasn't worked for 5 years. Draxxin or Macrosyn works excellent 1cc per hundred pounds. No need to touch the eye and no patch needed. Forty years as a cow calf man so take it for what it's worth.
I don’t know if anyone else has suggested keeping the blind calf in a small corral with her mother, but I’d think that would be good for you and them. That way you could keep a closer eye on her and she wouldn’t feel so lost. Maybe you are right. It think the herd seemed calmer after all the treatments were administered. It's sure not going to be easy for Farmer Tyler to doctor these poor little calves. A bit noisey today, lot's of bellowing and grunting from the calves and cows.

I usually put the la 300 in the eye take the needle off n was the eye out then pirate patch
I have had good luck with that exact same spray. I didn't use anything else but the spray, but I treated them daily until the pinkeye cleared up.

We used to deal with pinkeye a lot here in sw colo . We got rid of it thru breeding with bulls with dark pigment eyes
Tyler try taking the needle off and spraying 1cc of la200 in each bad eye instead of the powder you'll see a difference fast
I have had no luck with LA200 for a few years. If it does not work on these maybe you should go to your vet and see if he will give you Draxxin.
Rest break is over 😂. A good days work.

What's the powder called and why la 200?
Just to give them a boost ?
Or does it help being an antibiotic ? Just wondering .
