Man what happened to the price of those OEM Vita memory cards. I bought an official Sony 64GB from Amazon back in 2017 for $88 and now they are going for $240-$300. Is it because they are in more rare supply as more time passes or are companies just price gouging?

It depends on your priorities. The PS Vita 1000 features an OLED display, whereas the more recent 2000 model utilizes an LCD screen. Additionally, the 2000 model boasts a superior battery life of an additional hour and it has a micro USB port as opposed to the proprietary charging port found on the 1000 model. The 2000 model is also slightly slimmer.
The 3 other comment’s perfectly explain the differences 1000 has better screen and better sticks, while the 2000 has a longer battery life is a little thinner and uses micro usb as opposed to the proprietary charger on the 1000

2000. Slim lighter and you’re only missing out on oled screen from the 1000
Actually the oled also has hall effect joysticks, and is thus FAR less likely to develop stick drift.
