Thank you for testing this... this game loop should exist because it does with hand mining. It's not min/max clearly, but there are those folks that would probably enjoy hand salvaging. Especially those that do survivalist/off-grid living in Pyro who salvage crashed or abandoned ships.
I hope they make it just as good as hand mining. They did say they're introducing hand salvage in Pyro at scrap yards so maybe a balance pass is coming. Fingers crossed 🤞
I didn't see anyone mention but you are trying to sell the cannisters. Go to the TDD and try to sell the RMC from the cannisters. In the past we had to put them in a storage container too but haven't tried it in the past year.
ty for testing this, sir. as for wondering what you can sell, in my experience any weapon or component that isn't a stock one from a player ship can be sold.
The salvage missions are not about scraping the ship. To complete the mission you have to dismantle it. The 40% was the construction materials. Love your vids bro, thank you.
Also I find it odd you aren't able to trade these because this was working a year ago. There's videos out there showing this was able to be traded at TDD.
The helmet I looted and the armor I just bought at Lorville. I made a video on where to loot cool helmets if you want to watch th-cam.com/video/gW4IhZMnyDM/w-d-xo.html
It might be that you are in space so the weight of the object you are moving matters less. Or it could be that you are playing Star Citizen. Fun but buggy.
@@tenryuta He clearly says this is a test of mechanics. he's not promoting this gameplay. You would live like an animal in a cave if people didn't test new improvements because doing anything for information would be too worthless for you.
@@landsraad9745 did several times my self, just to make a quick...300uec, for a 5-10 min grab and freight, so yeah, again worthless, if you dont like going to HD tower for attritions, theyre rare on ships but can be used for a quick upgrade from a bounty, titan's revenant gat.. maybe as well(think they sell em at orison).

Well worth the watch, ship repair should be fun, at least you made enough to feed the Cat.

Do you know if the durability of the weapon has an effect on how much you can sell the weapon for?

Thank you for letting me know, this was legit the first time I have ever accepted a salvage mission. I usually salvage panels or player ships
Salvage goes quickly because it's a super small ship ;)
Thanks for your guides.
Does the weapon durability have an effect of sale price?
Thx I knew already at 3.23 was not working but at least now I see they haven’t worked on it yet like the many broken missions in game

What did you use as an alternative?
@@tyroneharris3673 i dont understand, im new in SC

The crime here is bothering to get the guns, s1-3 are nigh worthless
I do that in other videos, just wanted to see if hand salvage actually did something :)
@@TheCoreGameplay also wasted time filling cans, and bugged the big srt by removing its can(s), none of which sold for more than 18uec
