Generally you also want 2007+ for the hr engine. That cuts your options down pretty fast. Not to also mention 80% of the 350z on the market are convertibles.
Here in germany it’s pretty hard to find a clean 350Z Coupe HR Version.. a good HR with about 100k kilometers are about 20k.. DE‘s are more likely to find and cheaper

350z and g35 have one of the more under powered braking systems compared to other platforms. A small upgrade such as this is no waste of money by any means
Want some power in order? Maintenance, brand new tires, stiffer suspension (BC), cold air intake for top end, plenum spacer, long tube headers w/ cat delete & cat back exhaust system. The finally a tune to really make it worth your damn money.
I'm building a M35, it's auto, but I have the exhaust intake and some cosmetic mods. Just need my wheels suspension and LSD. I really enjoy my car even for being auto, it's still fun. Plenty of power. And the VQ itself has unlimited tuning potential.
A 3500 Z is going to need another 3500 in bushings replaced by shop or you can do them for 3-400, and replace the entire brakes to brembos + Mishimoto thermostat, and fans for that same price if you do it yourself. lol
A clean z currently would cost around 10 especially if it’s a manual, on top a cold air intake wouldn’t work so well in the z engine bay unless you had a box or heats shield. On top of that the body kit you choose is duraflex which never fits correctly it always requires a lot of body work to look nice.

Got a 2008 audi a3 wagon for 3k. Into it 20k but have a 550 plus hp rs3 wagon. Doesn't have the vr6 motor u can get those to about 800 to 1000 hp but the 2.0t u can still get to around 600hp if you know what ur doing. The key to most budget cars in a newer motor and transmission. Mine had 212k on motor this year and blew timing belt and blew motor. Good thing it happened cause for 1200$ got a motor with 88k on it and 1200 to put in. So 2400$ went from a motor with 212k to 88k. Was into car 14k now about 20k after I put rs3 gear box in for 4k. The car is stupid fast and looks sick. Put rs3 front bumper rs3 spoiler rear diffuser side skirts front splitter and repainted it. Then put straight pipes 3in down pipes and up pipes a bigger intercooler better intake a big turbo. Better injectors and have it set up for methanol injection. Nitrous a stage 4 tune. Rs3 breaks and rotors rs3 steering wheel rs3 front display and a pop out screen on dash. Found cheap rs3 seats also and rs3 headlights and mirrors and rs3 springs and struts. Back up camera and dash cam to finish it off and I have the only rs3 wagon in the states I've ever seen. Alot of the parts were used. Have a family friend who owns a few junk yards and has some good connections on parts. But it doesnt compare to my fathers 1940 ford coupe deluxe. It has the original frame that was extended 3inches. It was built by hendrix motor sports and a few other big name places. The car has been all over the country and dale Earnhardt drove his car years ago b4 my father owned it. It has 850hp and nitrous. The rear tires are 2ft wide. The car will spin the tires through every gear at 1/4 throttle.
