Has it arrived yet? Got mine last week. Few kinks ironed out and it’s honestly great. Can be a bit cumbersome - no obvious grip at the back doesn’t help. Ps: hold M for a few seconds rocket mode 🚀 Pps: only when ready 😂
I just received mine, unfortunately the display was damaged in transit so waiting on a replacement part. Just a tip though, if you press and hold the M button you will see a little rocket symbol appear and the speed restriction lifts and you can get the full 750w power, I got up to 50km on the throttle
Thanks for the tip! I wasn't too worried about getting those speeds as it's 25 km/h max here and someone would send my video to the local police if I did over that on video. Trust me there are people like that. But it's still good to know. Shame about your damaged display what do you think of the bike overall so far apart from that?
@@Techtablets oh I would well believe it!!...joys of video. Well at least it's a handy tip for climbing a hill (with no cameras around) so far I'm impressed with the quality given the price, other cargo bikes here (in Ireland) are a minimum of €3,500, so to get one for €1499 with decent build quality, range and speed I'm really quite happy. Waiting on the child seats so I can start bringing the kids to school on it (shipping from china takes an eternity) but so far my initial impression is positive apart from the shipping mishap
@@JayMcG84 I thought about the child seats but my eldest is too big now. 10 & 6 so if the were younger I would do it and ride them both to school (It's not far). I think the build is great for the price and I have seen some real cheap stuff this isn't it. Glad you like it enjoy the bike and I will have more bikes up and coming I have 3 more to test and review I'm working on.
Got mine almost a month ago and I'm really annoyed at the build quality. Fiido has come a long way but there are issues like poorly made threads that will mean maintenance will be hell. I've already stripped two screws on mine opening the controller box...
I mean I have some other issues too, like they sent me a preproduction computer so some of the Bluetooth functions are missing. I have a 20 email long thread with them and they finally just realized the issue and are sending me a replacement computer. Also they ship an undersized seatpost with the bike. I'm 1.86m tall and it was already too short for me, so no way this bike fits a 2m tall person. They were willing to make me a custom sized one but would charge me 50 euros, so I just bought one from decathlon at the same price.
Hmm I reviewed the KiQ2, KQi3 Pro and KQi3 Max all very good for the price but not the NQI and NIU seems to have cut my off for some odd reason not heard from them. But I love their escooters! And would love to test it.
@@Techtablets Hmmm 🤔 you could also try the Ninebot/Segway E series E300p or 200p so good. It's a big boy vespa type bike. You deserve to try one of these powerful type bikes.
It should be the same as the stated max limit (440lbs, which includes the rider's weight) for the whole bike since the rear rack in literally part of the bike. Realistically, it should be a bit lower than the max.
@@lazylonewolf Nah man, weight distribution matters ;) But I found it: It's around 80kg like with most longtails. Since the T2 is not street legal in the EU I had to tame that pre-order finger hovering over the keyboard. Shame.
@@lazylonewolf I messaged them already and they stated it to be an off-road bike 🤓 Motor max nominal power is 250W in the EU as well and the bike runs faster than the allowed 25km/h So it would need some software tweaking and, well a different motor. Alas.
It's frustrating there isn't a UK legal equivalent for this type of bike in this same sort of price range. This has been the biggest thing putting me off purchasing another E-bike the fact that a lot of the non-legal bikes are actually more affordable than the legal ones. There are a lot of bikes which advertise themselves as having similar power outputs while still having a 250w to stay "legal" but those are all mostly restricted bikes that can be unlocked which is still considered illegal. I don't personally care about having a higher speed limit other than it possibly making it safer when riding on the roads if it makes it easier to keep up which vehicles. I would just like a bit more power to help me up inclines or when I'm carrying a heavy load.
Love your locations. Sometimes I watch your reviews just to see if I got it right 😂. Another good, honest, well made review 🤟👍
Thanks a lot for the exhaustive and complete test and bike review! very usefull for a future purchase!
Awesome content keep it up as always Chris Sir
Thanks, will do!
Waiting delivery and your vid, is easily the best for explaining using 👍🏻🏴

@@JayMcG84 Yeah Fiido is truly breaking the E-bike market, as it should be! Some brands have huge monopoly with high prices.

I love how the dogs always bark at you when you do the braking test.
Always if they are home. They seems to really hate the noise of the brakes and maybe the electric motors?
I like to think they're little racists who hate white people @@Techtablets
That might just be the perfect food delivery e-bike 🙂↕
Yes it, It would great for uber eats etc
Is the tire tubeless?

Not good to hear that all but at least they are getting you the computer at least. Decathlon to the rescue for the seat post at least.
It's easy to mobility?
You mean move about? Well it's almost 40 kilos and quite big so not really but to ride it's very nice.
Woohoo another Fiido E-Bike review!
More to come! Well hopefully if they send me more ebikes!

Mate I really want you to try a NIU NQI series. All the boy racers have them here and do wheelies on them.

Would it be possible to transport three young children with this bike?
Me interesa la bici, vivo en Denia, podría verla en vivo?
Gracias
Is it possible to review the Fiido Air? Thank you 😊
Okay I will ask them if they can send it to me.
Like it a lot! What's the load capacity on the tail rack, do you know?
