Pronominal verbs, reflexive verbs - there are a few different ways people refer to verbs whose infinitives end with -SE in Spanish. I’s not always so easy to understand why Spanish speakers use ME, TE, SE, NOS etc. with verbs. Harry and José demonstrate the key differences with different examples!

The third example was one I found watching a Friends scene about Ross and his boss eating his sandwich(it’s on TH-cam with translation it’s fun lol)
I got confused. I was aware of the reflexives which go on yourself, the ones that change like quedar or acordar…
But that third example I had NEVER seen but in that Friends video, the boss was like “yo me comí ese sandwich” to which Ross is like “se comió mi sandwich?!”
And I got confused, and a native speaker I asked thought “but that’s the form!” And I didn’t have the time in the moment to say “but no it’s not like Lavar or duchar which you put on yourself!” But then I briefly thought it’s like “I myself ate the sandwich” as in “I was the one, it was me” and Ross adding his se was “it was you?!” Something so subtle adding the extra pronoun.
I’ve seen it in other places too where I was confused even more so I’m glad my theories were confirmed about the emphasis! This makes sooo much more sense! The team is always wonderful with these varied topics 😊

Como puedo saber se un verbo es del primer segundo ou tercer grupo?

Mi problema es cuando significan lo mismo como verbos reflexivos y como verbos normales según mi diccionario. En este caso no puedo entender que verbo utilizar el normal o el reflexivo. Por ejemplo quedar=quedarse según mi diccionario. Seguramente me equivoco pero estoy un poco confundido
Muy útil! He escuchado escapar y escaparse…. Entonces, es del tercer grupo? O sea da énfasis a la idea de escapar. Yo me escapé del oso… versus escapé del oso tranquilamente… jajajaja… vale, nunca va a escapar de un oso tranquilamente…
Hola chicos, ¿no hay un cuarto grupo de verbos reflexivos que siempre son reflexivos como quejarse?
En un episodio futuro, ¿podría explicar el uso de "se" en construcciones impersonales, como "se vende" o "se habla inglés"? También, en oraciones como "se me ha caido el boligrafo"?

What's the difference between "me hace sentir raro" y "se me hace sentir raro"? Are both sentences correct? What is the difference between their use cases?
"me hace sentir raro" is -it makes me feel weird
"se me hace sentir raro" it's not correct.
Sería "se me hace raro" which would be -I find it weird
