L.A. SOUND DESIGN PEDALBOARD RACK TONES.

Here is a awesome board finished this week for my friend Howard Laster. The board was designed to replicate the Studio rack we designed for him. The signal chain is as follows: Custom interface with buffer, ISO and FX Loop---RJM PBC-10 (L1 MAXON COMP----L2 XOTIC RC BOOST----L3 VEMURAM SHANKS ODS-1---L4 JHS ANDY TIMMONS----L5 SOLDANO SLO----L6 SOURCE AUDIO EQ. FX Loop SND----L7 FREE THE TONE TRI AVATAR/WAMPLER TERRFORM----L8 BOSS SDE-3000D EVH----L9 STRYMON VOLANTE---L10 NEUNABER ILLUMINE. L/R RTN. The also has a Radial Stereo JDI to go direct to the house. In this case the client is using a Two Notes Torpedo or C.A.B. inserted after the amp. In the ciip I am using a James Tyler SE with two Duncan Hot Stacks and a Allan Holdsworth Spec 59. The amps are a Blankenship Twinplex and Naylor SD-60 set clean.

Now that's a well put together board. Effects are pricey but worth every cent. Love your playing mate always have as I've been following for years. Just finished my 21RU rack build, I'm thrilled as these are the tones I'm getting. Thanks for the inspiration to play and build the very best way we can, placing effects and layering them is absolute. Cheers

JMO, the more pedals you put in a row, the more they suck tone out of your guitar. And yes, the guitar tone here is a bit thin - listening on studio monitors in a treated room. I realize this is all high quality gear that is expertly assembled. It looks beautiful and impressive, and I'm sure you can make a virtually infinite number of sounds.

Pretty sure Dave here has the pedals in separate loops to minimise such tone-sucking that you would find if they were all in series.
