Sounds awesome! I'd put the phaser earlier in the chain, b4 the OD to get closer to Eddie's sound. It'll calm it down it a bit. It's a, little heavy.

Have you considered putting the phaser and flanger before the overdrive pedal in order to sound more like Eddie?
Exactly - remember - Eddie DIDN'T use an overdrive - all his pedals and effects were BEFORE the amp, which is where he got all of his overdrive from (cranking a Marshall up to 10, and using a Variax to bring down the wattage and volume to reasonable levels).
Eddie did that out of necessity because it was 1978 and there wasn’t a Marshall DSL available😂

Would you ever be interested in making a video on how you set up your captor x pre sets? I got a captor x but sometimes I have a tough time balancing my input/output gain with with the captor x and my interface plus my amp. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it! Love the videos and always blown away by the tons you get, especially when you play VH🤘🏼
Just opening the box made me think that you were going to have smaller and smaller boxes to open until you got to the packed and condensed framework--they had to have done that for humor. They also must have known your body measurements. Can't knock the results once you added the filter though. It was scary until you did. Awesome.

Try phaser before the 5150 overdrive.

I suppose it would depend on if you’re after a different tone, but, for VH you want modulation prior to dirt, so, I suggest Wah, Phase 90, Flanger 117, then the drive. If you’re after the VH1 tone, then a tape delay prior to the drive as well, reverb is added only after the amp, either on the DAW, or in a dry/wet setting.

Awesome board! I would bet a lot of the noise was coming from that D'Addario tuner. I had it and any time I'd turn on some high gain pedals the hiss was out of control.

We’re you using the 5150 pedal or the blue channel of the lunchbox , looks like the blue channel of the amp was engaged

I'd like to see you recreate The Edge's pedal board.
So I'm a little confused.. the small 5150 amp was only being used as a clean amp and all the tone was from the pedals? Having never played that amp before I dunno what it sounds like and I didn't see a comparison of the amp tone before anything was switched on.
I've needed a pedal board for a long time now. For the price of this board you cant go wrong. Especially if you need to More space down the road.
What do think about single effects guitar unit and which one do you recommend
Wah before Phaser before flanger before delay before distortion then chorus... Delay is usually after distortion, but Eddie put it first, there was no Loop in his Amp.

I have a boss GT5 1996 pedal maide japan and I am very happy until. today with the sounds I also have the pedal box boss gt10 model 2010 best sound together
That evh phaser hiss on the background occurs when hooked to a certain power supply. I got this hiss in one of my isolated power block, but not in the other isolated one (both same brand)… so logic? 🤷🏽♂️😅

@Casque Adrian The Echoplex Delay Pedal is downright awesome in my opinion. Best Delay that you can get in my opinion. Eddie used a real old-school Echoplex back in the day too.
