One of the great things about watching this channel is that you are introduced to so many people working in the entertainment industry you havent heard of before.
Man's bag was practically overflowing. 😂 I respect it. Good to see someone grab a Western. Not enough people go for the Westerns & Jubal is proper underrated.
The mysterious off-camera hand makes its rare appearance to reach in and give special items to a closet visitor. Where are these wondrous Dvds kept if they aren't in the closet proper? Why are they kept elsewhere? And the voice-over narrator whispers "No one knows."
If you haven't seen Hale County This Morning, This Evening, please, please, please do yourself a favor and watch it. Incredible documentary. So cool to see RaMell on here.
i like how he mentioned roaming library aisles and finding gems. i found 'fishing with john' that way. couldn't really find any good pickings from the aisles i usually frequented, so i wandered over to the sports vhs tapes. and behold! that is how that bizarre gem was found. next to a tape on bass-fishing in wisconsin.
WHAT?!?! Bruce Lee box set is in the CC?!? I feel like they've been keeping it a secret!! Thanks 'Helping Hand'!! LOL!!! When he mentioned 'Cameraperson' I thought he was talking to the person filming him, hahaha! I always love when "Ghost Dog" gets picked!
The Hand of Fate, but not Manos. When he talked about grabbing movies at the library based on their titles, I knew he’d be an ideal candidate for the random pick.
I've already own Ghost Dog: The Way of The Samurai last month for the 50%off at barnes and noble and is really peak cinema it does have John Wick and Denzel's The Equalizer vibe and style and if you watched carefully you can feel Martin Scorsese Goodfellas style and a really killer musical score and soundtrack by RZA

And no mention of Criterion Channel App. This is a must.
Very true. Even movie buffs have their blind spots. Like Criterion itself, these videos spotlight artists.

Surprised more people don't completely fill their bag.
Should check out Viggo's if you haven't, all westerns
When Viggo was in he went full Western! 😂👍

His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for film comes through. I'll have to watch La Jetée/Sans Soleil combo and re-watch Ghost Dog and The Tin Drum.

Great director and artist!
Interesting movies he chose. Happy to see that he likes Tarkovsky’s movies and Bruce Lee.
Can we please expect The Nickel Boys in Criterion?
Such eclectic picks. This is the ❤ of the criterion collection.
Good to see someone in there with such restraint.
“You need to bring it in. You need to EAT it.”
I loved the novel, so I'm really looking forward to seeing The Nickel Boys film adaptation!
FILL THAT BAG! Dont be shy just fill that thang up! :D Love it!

“People on the other end.” I like that
Ita zound likes movie!!!
Dude! I've been promoting Delmer Daves for ever -- good pick.
He's got nothing on Dave Delmers and his excellent film, 'Abjul'
Visitors should spin around 8 1/2 times for the random pick. Or as many times as there are titles in the collection
Can’t wait to see Nickel Boys! 👏🏼
The phantom hand of assistance - we need it more
I love that jacket ngl
You should put his jacket in your criterion bag

RaMell is the man. Nickel Boys is incredible ❤️
You don’t drop that Wong Kar Wai set in your bag like that. I carried mine home like it was nitroglycerin.
"The Wages of Wong", "Drive My Kar", "The Bridge Over The River Wai"
That was one greedy back haul. Free Xmas gifts by the looks of it for others
Tin Drum is wonderful, Schlondorf is a treasure of German cinema.
