Looks awesome, LT. For your lines with depth, you can also use a screen roller. You, my friend, are a born upholstery mechanic. Get the thing that does the things you won't regret it. Awesome video.
Looks amazing. That red red red looks 🔥 . Great work. I did headliners in my 20’s. It was a lot of fun. Watching you cover those panels brings back memories.
Thank you! I was a little worried all the reds would clash but man, I am super happy. Bet the glue smell that's still in my garage would bring back memories too 😆
People. Listen to this man. He knows what he's talking about. If you're trying to wrap something in vinyl, use this glue. In 30 years of doing car audio I haven't found a spray can adhesive that works well with vinyl. LT, it hurt my OCD that you didn't use a circle jig on a router for that hole, but it turned out great! lol
Same here! Don't think there's any out there that compares, not that I've ever seen. Not gonna lie I was a bit concerned about how round that circle was going to end up 😆 figured since I was making a grille to fit the hole rather than the other way around, if I had to file it out a bit, I'd just have to make a 6 1/8 inch grille 😆 it turned out surprisingly circular though
@mattkaiser4836 I hear that! But I do anyway at home 😆 gotta get myself set up with a decent router and table I can fold up and hang on the wall or something. Ceiling maybe? Lower it down when I need it. I need a bigger garage is what I need 😆
Excellent work LT! I wasn't really thrilled with the panels and layout in the beginning but it was a complete turn around when it was finished. Looks totally awesome. It's a shame it has to go into storage. Thanks for the great video on the project.
Dude!! That looks amazing... I thought the panels were cool but covered takes them wayyyy past next level!! You are the upholstery wizard!! Cant wait to see whats next
@PeckerwoodKustoms I don't think the swirl velvet would look bad in there or out of place, would've looked good I think. Just don't think it was the look I'm going for. Glad I changed it actually, i really like the suede in it. And already scorched guarded lol got some right away!
Thank you sir! Thats a fact, custom doesnt come in a box! Funny thing, what you said reminds me of something i used to say a lot, universal doesn't mean it fits everything, it means it fits nothing lol oh, and I really enjoy doing interior builds like this, I'm not opposed to customer work some day lol
Looks awesome man. Professional!! I jump around on projects a lot, keeps the intrest going. If you don't sometimes your project gets the dreaded stall and then it just sits. And we all know what happens then the next guy finishes it. Lol

Once I learned about using routers I really hated pulling out the jig saw.

Thanks! I wanted one for years but never came across a good one. Then one just fell in my lap one day 😆 they're out there.
That turned out great! I’m thinking about tackling an interior on a truck I’ve been working on. Usually my interiors look…well, rather ugly.😂
I have a lot of fun with interiors, and I'll tell yeah I've done a couple ugly ones too 😆
@@LTscustomgarage I guess that how we learn, I hope this one comes out decent!😅
Nice job!
Thanks!
