    Cool!!
Metals are so important for anyone working in sci-fi or industrial (or a mix of the two) and I just love this kind of thing. If you look at, say, a very high performance sports bike, WSB, or endurance racer, then they are just a riot of beautiful, highly engineered materials, with loads of different metals, in all sorts of states of wear, like, for example, the brake rotors, and fork stanchions.
I really appreciate that you're doing this kind of thing chipp, because I've always felt that very high quality metals like this have been neglected by the mainstream providers of pbr materials. Yes, they do metals, but not necessarily ones suitable for 'highly engineered' components.
I have a copy of Eevee + Cycles Materials System, and of course, kit ops pro, so I'm really looking forward to getting the new version and trying out these materials.
    Thanx!!

Hi Richard, yes, you are correct-- and that is one of the reasons I created these materials. The truth is that no single shader architecture can simulate all of these reality based materials. That's why this collection is different from all other material collections-- each material group is based on it's own shader algorithm.

Hi Chipp, Thank you for the update to the "Materials System" 9.3. When I try apply the Brushed Steel material to the default cube and render in CYCLE, the anisotropic works, but the texture of the brush is linear instead of radial. Is there something that I did wrong? Or how can I make the brush radial?

I don't understand the question. Please ask your question at cw1.me/discord

Hello, is there a list what materials, decals etc are shipped with kit ops pro?

There are currently over 300 different INSERTS. KIT OPS Free Mats are basic materials and there are no decals-- but it's easy to make your own. You can get high quality materials from EEVEE+Cycles Materials system for KIT OPS.

are those materials bakables? I have tried doesn't work, so not possible to get those materials into a 3D to send to another software

Sure they are bakeable, as long as you setup your UVs correctly. Try SimpleBake (one of the best addons out there)

Is it possible to use this without kit ops?

Yes, just append the materials from the KPACKS and save them to Asset Manager.

Anyone else getting CTD upon adding a material with Blender 3.6.2?
Edit: Seems just fine with 3.6.4 (and 4.0 beta).
