The manufacturers need to come up with a way to make the elements removal so they are easier to clean. Better yet a self cleaning air fryer oven would be even better!
I use bar keepers friend soft cleaner and it Works great. Takes the stuff off the glass easily. Gets the inside pretty clean as well. It’s so hard to get in there to scrub though.
I found this exact model sitting by the dumpster area. The oven looked functional but a bit filthy. Detergent, hydrogen peroxide, Lysol, and a bit of pure elbow grease, got the job mostly done. I can smell the stink from your oven through the screen. Thank you for the cleaning advice.
Props for the work...truly a neglected oven. The design makes them hard to clean thoroughly. I keep reading not to use harsh cleaners on these because they have a non-stick coating. Lesson learned,,,clean your oven regularly.
Manufacturer says not to use oven cleaner, but seems to work ok for you. I have the same model and it’s a powerful little appliance used almost daily, but agree it’s hard to keep clean. Self clean feature would be great!
I just cleaned mine. Should be cleaned after cooking greasy food. I cover tray with aluminum foil (2 layers) which helps some when cooking. Used Easy Off with no fumes, applied with paper towel and Brillo pad to scrub. I don’t cover elements. I feel the walls to check if still has grease. After cleaning and rinsing 3 times I turn on bake at 400 f. for 3 minutes. It doesn’t matter what appliance you use, if you cook fatty food you will always have some residue to clean off. I use Dawn Power Wash to clean glass. I’m not so happy with mine. Don’t like the way meat cooks. I use it mostly to roast veggies and make toast. Have my unit 4 years. Also can’t use microwave same time because of wattage. Living in a condo now.

The manual says not to use any chemical cleaners nor anything that has a scraper element. I'm just unable to get the top part as clean as I would like. Also i use a soft toothbrush for the corners and for the top.
My air fryer by Emiryl 360 XL stop working a week ago so I take all apart trying to fix my, but ware can't I get part all dos company it no way after year the Guarantee it over what the consumer going to do went it broken buy new one no way all this company it shod be alible for many resent. I no how to fix problem by 40% better air fryer what is problem but not going to tell den because they going to make the Big Big $$$$$ they have to many different model of air fryer they all danger to the Comsumer all should by sue. I’ve found oven cleaner to be basically useless. What I’ve found works great (but does require some elbow grease): unplug and remove trays; vacuum out any crumbs; turn machine on it’s side (like in this video); make a paste using bar keepers friend and hot water; apply the paste to inside of over (I do one side at a time); let paste soak for 10-20 minutes; use scratchy side of regular sponge to clean inside; use paper towel to remove left over paste/water; for outside, just wipe down with a wet microfiber cloth; once finished scrubbing, run air fry at 350 for 10 minutes; wipe off any dried remaining paste or debris and give a second round of vacuum for any dust. I didn’t bother with wrapping heating coils and was also not careful and somewhat rough with my scrub of the inside and the coils survived just fine.
i have the exact same model. two things: you didn't tell us how to clean the basket. when i cleaned mine the graphics on the knobs came off. i now have to refer to the manual to set the temp.
I got this fryer as a christmas present. I hate that you can't take it apart to clean it properly. It's very nice to use, but you gotta clean it once a day. :(
The cuisinart has you put the air fryer basket on the tray and the tray on the higher groove - so it's really close to the top. and you don't notice the stuff that flies up & sticks to the 'ceiling' - and it's pretty much impossible to clean that area because the heating elements are in the way, it's all up in the fan, I'd say a design flaw. Doesn't take too long to get buildup.

Lemon juice and hot water in a bowl set at 350 for 10+ minutes did a better job and I hadn’t cleaned mine for over a year.
You put a glass bowl in the air fryer then just wiped down? I’m trying to clean mine now

I've been using SUPER CLEAN degreaser and have been having fairly good results.
These air fryers are just to much work, returned mine

The cleanup after each use is usually 5 minutes and done…using a silicone mat makes cleanup a breeze. Amazon has these is various sizes and shapes.
