Thank you. I've tried to clean it every time I use it. However, I came here and other videos to see how to clean the ceiling where the element is, but none of them have the information . You did a good job
Mr carlos, thank you for the help. As I am a senior I have a hard time cleaning the air fryer. I use that dawn all the time, but was afraid to use it in the air fryer. Thanks again. Dios te bendiga!!!
Thank you! I had an air fryer similar to this and gave it away. Cleaning it was such a chore and I eat exclusively meat, fatty meat. So, I found that no matter what I did, there would be splatter and smoking and it just wasn't worth it to me. Watching you do such a good job reminded me of just why I don't want to try and bother with one again! I'll just stick to my cast iron skillet 😉 Nice video though!
I love the Dawn spray! That stuff will clean everything! I need to clean my Air Fryer SO Bad and I just ran Out of Dawn Spray! Guess it will get cleaned tomorrow!! Thanks Great Work! My Fryer is A Mess!!
Like your video regarding cleaning the power360 air Fryer. The details that you gave are great. Question regarding the inside of the air Fryer where the fan is, you didn’t show that or explain the cleaning. Please discuss that. Thank you for sharing
I’m glad I came across your channel, of course I subscribed 😊 My awesome brother bought me an Emeril French Door 360 and I waited a couple days to use it because I felt a little intimidated lol. Last night I got brave and cooked bacon, then burgers on the grill plate and then set it to broil and buttered some hamburger buns and lightly toasted them. Needless to say, after cooking the whole pkg of bacon and grilling the burgers, my air fryer was a little greasy inside. After it cooled a little bit I wiped it down inside with paper towels to get the excess off, then put hot water and dawn platinum dish soap in my sink, used a dishcloth and wiped down the whole inside of the A/F rinsing the rag a few times in the soapy water. Afterwards I sprayed the doors down with windex n paper towels. Worked great but I will try the Dawn Powerwash. Thanks!!
I have watched a few videos on how to clean it and using Dawn the way you did looks like it was the best. Your funny, you just manhandled the unit. Go Carlos!!! lol
You can get a Teflon mat and cut it to size to fit in that bottom crumb tray super easy to clean and you won’t be messing around with the temperature of your oven
I will try this. I usually heat mine with lemon water in a glass dish, then use dawn and grease police. then I scrub with a brush or scrub daddy, scour daddy. then i wipe clean and burn off on different cycles before using again.
I cleaned the airfryer very good after I cook some chicken legs and the light bulb broke in pieces. No more air fryer the light bulb is not replaceable, bye airfryer oven. But the airfryer oven was very clean with power dawn great product.
I use the Dawn also and it works great,,,only complaint is you sprayed the side where the fan is but didn't show cleaning it. I was wondering if we could spray the fan side, but I am afraid it would damage the inside???
I was hoping for a answer! I've watched a couple of these videos on cleaning the Air Fryers and everyone sprays the fan. I have been scared to spray anything in it! I just wipe that side. His Fryer isn't smoking! Yah! LOL still a little worried about doing it!
If food juice an grease get on fan compartment and fan as well as on an down in heating elements I'm wondering if those parts can take direct dawn spray cleaner then burn off with good ventilation
Thank u I’ve been wondering how to clean mine it smokes like u would t believe…lol I was worried about usin oven cleaner an products like that. However I do have the dawn spray so looks like I don’t have any more excuses…lol
Nice video. Didn't know the hearing elements would be OK with direct cleaning. Wonder if drip trayy above the elements throws the temp or running lift.
I love the smell of Dawn it smells so clean and WHO doesn't Love the Smell of Clean!! I can't Believe some People that would say this isn't an Air Fryer! This is A Air Fryer! It also does other things! But it does Air Fry! That is My main use for it. My main thing right now is to get it clean! It need to make sure its ok to spray the fan with cleaner? I worry about spraying in there because seems like there is a motor for the fan in there. Do You really know if that's okay? 🤔
You may have had rhis question and i missed it but ive heard some ppl say to cover the elements before you spray the cleaner in it, do you know if it causes any long term damage if you spray directly onto the elements??? Thank you for the video and your time if you respond.
Thanks for this video. This is exactly what I was looking for. My question is I didn't see you wipe the dawn powerwash off of the fan area....if I spray the powerwash on it it will go in the holes so how do I clean that so the fan won't get messed up?
@@JustAskCarlos I'm not sure I like the idea of spraying the side with the fan! Maybe just spray a rag or something and wipe it on and let it sit that way. Don't You think that it's going to mess up the fan motor? Please do answer...
I liked your video. I can tell you what DOES NOT work. Baking soda paste and a toothbrush. Diluted white vinegar, straight white vinegar, straight apple cider vinegar, regular Dawn dish soap and a scratch scrubby pad, preheating and getting the AF hot then wiping with a damp cloth...Ugh. I am going to buy this Dawn stuff you used and give it a try. Looks like it will do the job. Thanks!
Hey nice strip lights BTW. Do you have a video for that? (I’ll look in your list 😅) I dearly wish you had shown how to clean the mesh basket. That’s been the biggest challenge for me and many others.
Actually no they were super simple to install! Just get a 30ft LED set that has a splitter and Alexa/google compatible and run 1 set over top and 1 set under the cabinets and you’re done!
@@JustAskCarlos Thanks - yeah I ran those around the ceiling of my den, and around one wall of my living room, a few years ago. I have the power supplies going into a smart plug so I can control with Alexa also. I even took some leftover strip, ran it around the inside of my car trunk, and wired it to the trunk light switch, so much more light in the trunk. It’s like that scene in Pulp Fiction with the briefcase. 😀 They have COB strip lights now which are super bright and continuous! I got a roll of it and might replace one of the older strips that goes over my desk, as it seems to be a bit weak. Haven’t done it in my kitchen mainly because my cabinets are laid out oddly, and outlets are few and far between. (And of course now my air fryer oven takes up another one 😀)
I would say it's fine to use foil on the middle tray but not the drip pan on the bottom. I know for a fact that, just like a regular store, when you line to bottom of the oven, the foil can fly up and if it touches one of the elements, it will burn a hole in it which means it'll break and not conduct heat.
I have watched many videos and I don't see them getting cleaned much. It appears Dawn Sprayer does the best but still requires much scrubbing. As long as they have been around now you think somebody would make products like Oven Cleaner for these devices. Some to spray on let it sit a bit and wipe it off.
Well I do appreciate this video a lot. Because I was looking to purchase an air fryer like the one he has there. But have decided not to purchase one just for the fact of all this cleaning even though it appears to be simple forget about it
thanks for showing about the heating elements. i wish you showed more about cleaning the fan side...would it damage the fan? does it really get the fan area clean like the back of your air fryer?
@@JustAskCarlos I would think to wet a doobie pad or a cloth with the dawn spray (same for the heating element, maybe just a wet cloth because soap will probably smoke when you turn the oven on again).
Ok, but what about the ceiling vent area in the top of the Air Fryer? Won't i get the spray into that area pushing the soap spray around trying to clean up there?🤔 Besides, I can't really see up there well enough to get that area clean like I want it.😖😞

What about the side where the round blower thing is? What happens if you get soap in there?
My question as well.
It stays in there. Don’t let soap or cleaners fall in the holes.
Worked great! This was a REALLY. wonderful video
Since your recording, I've purchased some professor Amos. This stuff works great.
Thanks again, but how do you clean behind that fan???
Steam cleaning seems to do a really good job.
Great idea. I do have a steam cleaner. Doubt I can do where the fan is. Do you do around where the fan is?
Thank you!!! I just both the French Door Emeril 360 and is something new to get used to 😅
Thank you I didn't want to have to use heavy chemicals,I never even thought of dawn power wash.
I just put dawn dish soap in a spray bottle with some vinegar and water ….let it sit 15 minutes or so and with a bit of scrubbing…..voila magic 😊
