the reason why the whale floats like that above the surface of the water is because of the accumulation of gas from the decay of its organs. there are actually alot of youtube videos out there where they disect open the whale and it literally explodes from the pressure inside. dancing on this is a death wish
Not really dude that only applies for hot Temperatures where it cooks the body and starts to develop gastrointestinal bloating and where there is colder climate like Alaska and the cooler water slows that process down to the point the whale doesn't explode.
