Anither good session Darren, pleased you got your Turbot. Don't lose sleep over the lack of interaction from other TH-camrs, some of them think it's all about them and not as you always do with your banter in conversation. Almost like we're fishing alongside side you. Keep it up mate. Tight Lines. 👏👏👏👏
Thank you Ray. They are great beaches. Shallow however. After a good sea you do get some nice fish holding features. Great cod beaches in the winter too. Tight lines my chum.
I enjoy watching your channel. You seem to have a nice steady almost laid- back way of fishing which I can identify with. Your commentary is good and you seem to come up with the goods even if they are mostly flatties, which I like, particularly Turbot.
I appreciate that Gordon. I am always relaxed when I fish, it's what's all about. Believe me, some days the fish have the victory ! Thank you for watching. All the very best .
I used to live in Ellington and I loved fishing the beach at Druridge. Have been living in Lincolnshire for the last 8 years and there are some fantastic beaches here but they're all a bit different to the Northumberland beaches, although the fishing is just as good. Keep the videos coming. They remind me of some great days on the beach at Druridge.
Great watch as usual Darren, and also my favourite place tae be in such a bonnie day, see your getting some nice dabs, the dabs with us have been paper thin at the moment. Love the wee Turbot they are a bonnie fish and you never get sick of holding one in yer hand and seeing it swim away again, thanks for the mention bud, take care and tight lines tae yea 🎣 Looking forward to the next episode 🎣🐟🐟
Thank you Gordon, hope yer fit lyke! Those Dabs were chunky wee monkeys for sure. Turbot have to be the most stunning flatfish to me. Never get bored of those. Tight lines my friend.
Hi , thanks for watching. To be honest, you just need to find open sandy beaches where Turbot are know to frequent. Flat seas and warmer weather seems to do well up here in the North East. I prefer slightly overcast conditions but they will feed in sunlight. Clear water helps a great deal too. Fish baits, mackerel, bluey and sandeel if preferred. 👍
Back to my favourite place on your videos, not that I have been there before.... Great session, those Dabs are a good size, better than those that are caught on the Norfolk/Suffolk Coast line.👍
nice session for you bud glad you got that turbot you was after ,such a lovely mark with plenty of flatties nice weather to go with it , love to watch dont get much with the job so nice to watch ,cheers bud stay safe
Great video dude ...used to fish druridge and creswell for flats ..great venues and nearly always produce fish . Keep up the filming and tight lines .(Subbed)
Another great video. Fished Druridge on the flood on Saturday afternoon but the sea was too lumpy for fatties and not enough surf for bass. 1 flounder between me and my lad, but it was nice to be out on the beach
Lovely video nice flatties as well I have fished that beach before unfortunately I blanked but my mate I used to fish with before he moved south had a nice bass bit of a trek for me living in Darlington I like my cod fishing in the winter but do summer fishing as well when work doesn't get in the way plus like yourself at peace when fishing even if I don't catch oh nice hoddies as well would like to win one of those
Nice morning session, have you tried the beach a little further north, at hauxley. It's down the road on right, after the hadston turnoff but before the Radcliffe farm? Follow road down to beach and park to the left P.s. my dog is always on a lead even in the beach so he won't be decorating your seat box 😂
Really interesting to hear your take on TH-cam and it getting disheartening at times. I gave up sticking new content on with my fish breeding as TH-cam would only push my short videos and even then it all seemed to be about putting a clickbait title on which isnt my style. Coming up your way fishing in August with a mate and staying near Beadnell. Absolutely love fishing the end of the rocks for pollock down there its one of my favourite places to be at dawn. Tight lines
Thank you for watching and if course taking thectime to comment. TH-cam certainly is an odd world. Beadnell has been fishing quite well of late. Not many Pollock as yet but lots off nice wrasse. I will be filming there very soon 👍
Hi Jason, I generally cut the fillets into cubes for flatfish. It tends to fish better if you defrost the day before and leave it in your box. Gets nice and smelly 😉
Hi Phil . Thank you for watching. Some days are not too bad for me as I generally fish very early tides. Others can be quite bad depending on the day etc.
Really enjoyed this one, I was talking to you yesterday about never blanking with rag, I only got out for 2 hours but I didn't blank. One snotty, my first and I bloody hope it's the last 😂
@@northeastanglingyes it is, I have worked out now that there's no time for pictures etc. You need to grab hold of it ASAP and get it unhooked before it tries to turn itself and your rig into a tennis ball 😂
