Good stuff man! Clearly a lot of local knowledge going into your videos, as well as some great general tips. I love the woolly bugger with the long tail. I hope you get some more traffic on your channel!

Hey cheaper alternative for carrying kayak is “HanyRack” inflatable roof bars , we use them for our Kayack works great. Dead easy to swap over to another car too.

Awesome, funny during low water/drought conditions I leave my big gaudy streamers at home, have a simple rule go small, less bling & neutral if not any bead or cone head (black),use a Cortland Cammo line & 10' to 12' fluorocarbon leader, just my thoughts, tight lines & bent rods 🤙

That's exactly the idea. It's been awful around here. No real rain, in the high 90s for days on end.

Are you still liking that fly line? I've been thinking about it for a long time. Similar situation here with low clear water and super spooky smallmouth.

Absolutely. In fact I just grabbed an 8 weight clear intermediate for this spring. That combined with lightweight Clouser minnows I've been tying with bead chain eyes instead of lead has been a killer combo so far this spring.
