Jordan played 11 full seasons with 1 team (Broken foot 85-86, retired 93-94, only played 17 games at the end of 94-95 season). In those 11 seasons he had 10 scoring titles, 9 All Defense 1st team, 6 Rings, and 5 MVPs. Knock the Lebron shit off.

Bill Russell played 13 FULL seasons. In those 13, he went to TWELVE NBA Finals, won 11 and won 6 MVPs. Jordan played FIVE seasons without Pippen. In those five seasons, Jordan did not have ONE .500 season. NOT ONCE. WHY do you think Jordan can sniff Russell's jock if these are your criteria? Please, don't come back at me with "scoring titles", please. I will throw up.

    • Quick story about Kobe, way back when he was in high school… a group of Baltimore area all-stars went to play against a Philly team in their prestigious Sonny Hill league all-stars in the summer of 95’… One of them was my younger cousin, and a few other kids who played Division One… etc.
I can remember, my cousin coming back to Bmore and said: “I just played against a kid that could be better than Jordan”
Of course I was like nah, you tripping… now this is before the days of the internet and cell phones… so I just couldn’t believe it.
He was so excited and my cousin, played with some really good players… went to all the camps, (Nike, Five Star, etc) He got angry… and was like MAN IM TELLING YOU THAT KOBE BRYANT WILL BE GREAT !
    Lol…
I only took his word for it after speaking with the other guys on his team, and the coaches who all said the same thing…
That this young man, was just on another level.
When you hear this from peers, guys who are really talented in their own right… at that point in his career… you can’t help but reference that when you watched (when I watched) Kobe career progress…
The thing he said that stuck out the most when he raved about Kobe, was how he just didn’t want to beat you, he wanted to dominate and humiliate you~ on both ends of the court.
Kobe played with that same intensity his entire career…
He said he played like he wanted to “break your will to compete”
That’s the difference between MJ and Kobe…
Although it wasn’t tangible like their skills, but it translated to their on court play.
Lebron, NEVER possessed that intangible trait.
Never… is real hoop fans knew early on, we could see the way he shrank in big moments… he was never a “Killer” never had that instinct.

Great segment, oh my Kobe and MJ, so Kobe Bryant emulated MJ, took what he learned from MJ, and had the nerve or audacity to win championships with this formula and many people are not sure why Kobe is in the top five. This tells the entire world how truly great MJ was and his inspiration, his invaluable advice helped solidify another great basketball player. One thing can be like another if both things have similar formats. Both Kobe and MJ were simply coachable, dedicated to their craft, passionate about winning at the highest level, playing within the framework of the team concept, and had the innate ability to adapt to adversity and embrace pressure situations.

They are stat padding for Lebron. AOH just did an accurate breakdown using the exact timeline when Lebron was given credit for rebounds…. that he didn’t even collect. Seriously, he got credit for one when he was at the top of the 3pt line nowhere near the ball which fell to the ground and another Lakers player picked it up…
Another where he tapped it out of bounds and it changed possession ~
He did a breakdown a few weeks ago on assist Lebron was credited with, when the player he passed it to, didn’t dribble straight to the basket, and took multiple (6) dribbles… insane that fans don’t pay attention to this. I watched the Lakers Hawks game and when they said LeBron had a triple double, I was thinking… “I didn’t see him grab that many boards… it was the same game AOH broke down according to the NBA website.
This needs to be brought to light. How many rebounds and assists has LeBron been credited with that he truly didn’t deserve…

Some of that came from allegations in eagle Colorado and not because of his performance on the basketball court, in other words Kobe should have more regular season MVPs and anyone in the right mind knows that already!
And you're right about what Phil Jackson said to Michael jordan, Jordan actually went to Phil Jackson and asked him if we were going to be running more of a share the ball type of offense and Phil said yes and you're going to have to get used to that... People overrate lebrons "prime" (his maimi years) Lebrons game has pretty much been the same since day 1….the only difference is in miami aside from the (juice that is) he had two other prime all stars around him and shooters to take pressure off of HIS deficiencies which is why his STATS INFLATED in Miami- current (along with the softer rules of course)
Put it this way…..lebron got to the finals 8 years in a row playing with WADE, BOSH, IRVING, LOVE thats 4 allstars in there prime and went
    3 rings 5 loses
Give Shaq and Kobe another prime allstar to play 3rd fiddle and they easily win like 6 rings
Post Shaq years Kobe took Pau Gasol (who is NOT better or is on par with the 4 all stars lebron played with) took him to 3 finals in a row in 2.5 seasons (remember Kobe only had Pau for 27 games in the 2007-2008 season)
give Kobe a 3rd allstar (any of the names listed above that lebron played with) and they easily 3peat and then probably win 1 or two more afterwards
Conclusion Kobe won more in less time and requires LESS top heavy pieces to win (because kobe can play in a system)
Lebron LOST more in a longer amount of time because he requires MORE top heavy pieces to cover up his offensive deficiencies and 3pt shooters (Lebron cant play in a system because he IS THE SYSTEM he has the ball majority of the time to maximzie his stats)
long diatribe i know but thx for anyone who reads

Lebronamaniacs always overinflate LeBron’s importance in Miami and devalue DWade as if he was injured the entire time. DWade was league scoring leader the season before LeBron’s arrival averaging 29 per game.
What Lebron thought would be easy Finals wins with the superteam in Miami really exposed exactly what you touched on which is his inability to play within a system.
DWade admitted that he had to dial back his game to allow Lebron to thrive after the 2011 loss to the Mavs.
This is why LeBron’s been using a copy and paste format with every team he’s played with since Miami.

Basketball is a two-way sport and therefore in order to be considered the GOAT, you have to have played exceptionally well on BOTH sides of the ball. LeBron takesa vacation on defense and therefore cannot be fairly considered in this conversation. To include him in the GOAT conversation is an insult to every great 2-way NBA player who ever laced up their sneakers.

Phil Jackson was a two time NBA champion with the Knicks as a player and played with legends like Willis Reed and Clyde Frazier. So while he didn’t have NBA coaching experience he did have something Mike didn’t at the time: multiple rings. Plus, he played 12 seasons. That’s why it isn’t surprising that Mike listened to him.

Lebron James is strictly a Mass Media creation and the Mass Media didn't acknowledge Kobe because the NBA is only important when it comes to their very own creation!!! Mass Media screwed over Kobe in their efforts to make sure that Lebron could outshine MJ!!! It was and still is a losing effort on behalf of a player who is just above average in his skills!!! He is not on the level of either of them and his behavior for the last six months proves it!!! He destroyed his son's blossoming career because he wanted (not needed) to outdo MJ in something!!! It didn't work!!!

The biggest difference IMO between MJ/Kobe and Lebron is that the former had the skill set and mentality to take over a game therefore when they say "give me the f-ing ball" all their team mates would listen and trust, while Flop King doesn't! He simply has no such bag and because of that is unsure of his own skills and this has been in full display so many times! And that is why I can't place LeQueen nowhere near other greats the likes of MJ, Kobe, Kareem, Wilt, Magic-Bird duo...no matter whatever others might think, he's not even making my top 10 all time list, and the reason is that if i bet on a team winning i would always go with Hakeem, Shaq, Duncan, David Robinson, and that's 4 plus the 6 i already have at the top it makes 10, and i would NEVER kick any of them because of a guy that has a high chance of melting down, bricking under pressure even free throws...NO...not to mention D! It's a shit show that we ended up talking about certain players as being 'two-way' ones when only a couple of decades ago if you don't play D you don't play more than a couple of minutes if at all...

Skillset wise on the all time level with the desire to win - compete, venomous, and doing anything it takes - MJ, Larry, and Kobe are at the top.
When you also think of leadership to instill the winning mindsets to teammates to create winning culture, Jordan is the clear cut at the top - and I could argue Tim Duncan for the top 2.
LeBron's place on All Time spot is a product of LeBron's ego and bombardment of LeBron stories, mainstream "analysts" opinions, and most importantly, recency bias.
My honest opinion - LeBron doesn't have leadership qualities that MJ, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant, Bill Russell, Tim Duncan, or Kareem possessed. He's a physical specimen built like a tight-end playing basketball to be an "all around player" - still with a few deficiencies in his game, but he lacks more of mental drive and intangibles.

The 'Jordan vs Lebron' debate was cleverly created with the specific intention to jump Lebon ahead of a handful of players who were clearly better than him. It's just marketing by Clutch, and effective marketing at that (people bought into it afterall). And yes, I would take Kobe over Lebron. I would also take Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Wilt, Kareem. In fact (and I'm a Celtics fan so this isn't easy), no one had the basketball career of Kareem when you factor in what he did in High School and College.

    - we are top 4 in the western conference
    - we rank between 6-8 for most points in the paint
    - we are only ranked 4th in offence
    - we are ranked 8th in defence ( so something must have changed, I don’t mind your opinion, but when not factual I got to call you up on that)
    - while at the same time we are ranked 22nd in 3pts attempted ( clearly that’s not how we build our offence)
Consequently, you can see that even if we aren’t taking a lot of 3s like your previously stated … our offence is potent

Michael Jordan was gifted with advantages Kobe didn't have..Kobe's vertical ability was average and his hand size was below average for his height so much so that he couldn't palm a basketball...but he dedicated his whole life to basketball and he is the player with the most championship rings won with no help"🤔...at first I was like how is that when Kobe had Shaq..but then Yu see all these interviews where Shaq said Kobe wouldn't pass the ball😂..then yu see interviews of MJ saying he only thought one person could beat him 1 on 1 and that's Kobe..not to mention the time the media said he was a ball hog..so he didn't shoot a single shot next game on purpose to prove he was the reason the Lakers were winning..all that made me a believer😂

Those of us who are old enough to go back to the eighties recognize who is the GOAT 🐐. MJ and Kobe were two way players and loved it. Shaq said a coach in the NBA recently told him they are looking to shoot 50 threes. Shaq asked him how many are you looking to make? The coach said 10-15. So you want to shot jack 50 threes just so you can make 10-15 and you actually think that's basketball? Even the warriors, who was known for high IQ play, are now playing just like the rest of these teams with no high IQ and just three point shot hunting nonstop. Didn’t Michael Jordan also played for a coach who won 11 rings😆Phil Jackson also won another 3 peat without MJ and also won back to back titles without MJ. While LeBron James coaches are still looking for their first ring without LeBron.
