    This is a very good video on Bipolar! I've got it myself and I find it very hard to explain to people. They usually just see it as being "moody" and that makes it feel pretty isolating. It kinda is discounting the paranoia of being manic and feeling that depressive plunge coming, being 500 bucks past your budget and not even realizing why until it suddenly hits you and then only barely being able to reign that in. Not to romanticize it but it really is a bit of a conflict between what you as a person think, what your bipolar currently is having you think and what your actual actions are.
    And I think you portrayed and presented that very well with your own explanations and the examples you used. The only bipolar artist I've looked into is Kanye West (I'm a lot more of a metalhead haha) but I think I'll give Sia a try now. Thanks!

      I am glad that you liked the video! I always fear that when I post these videos, the people who are affected by these subjects, I'm afraid I will misrepresent them so I am glad to hear that you enjoyed this video and that you think I portrayed this well! It really puts me at peace :3

    I have Bipolar Type II, and it's pretty rough. I hate the depression part with a passion, because it makes it difficult to do anything, and I can't quite get services. Because I have also recently developed a thyroid issue that makes it harder to tell the types of depression apart.

    My dad actually has bipolar and all these symproms you were talking about just describe him extremely well.(especially when you said that most bipolar people usually have other mental issues) I know what it is like experiencing someone else have a hypermanac episode, I was even a kid during his only episode. His medications make him very tired, so he can't really do much. I really felt this video, I'd like to go in to more detail but I won for his privacy. All I'll say is his hypermanic episodes mixed with his PTSD and made him have really bad dellusions and not just the whole "impulsive like spending a ton of money" thing you said, it was worse.

    I have bipolar, but I never really know when I experience a manic episode. The only time I feel like I'm having a manic episode is when I suddenly have so much energy and so many thoughts racing through my head that I try to clean the entire house.

    hey Geek! I love your videos!! I was wondering could you do one next on BPD? I have borderline personality disorder and I was wondering if there where any artist with this disorder like me thank you for your time, congrats for 1000!! And I hope you get more!

      I'll add BPD to my list c; If I can find compelling BPD art, then I will make a video on this topic, but I gotta do the research for it first, but after some months of slowly making this 20 minute video, I'ma take a week off of editing or something haha, I need a vacation uwu

      Okay! So I have some good news for you Alexander! I found some pretty dope art from an artist depicting each of the individual symptoms of BPD! I like to show atleast 2 artists in my videos, so I will have to find a second, but in the meantime, know that you are seen, you are valid, and that one day you will probably see a video on my channel about BPD c;

    • @geekface7567

      There are a variety of reasons as to why someone might not remember their past, anywhere from being hit in the head really hard to even having ADHD (some sufferers of ADHD struggle with short term memory loss, fun fact), but I'd say a great first step to recovery is to seek out a therapist. There is no shame in getting help, it's a sign of courage
