Am living Sivaganga. The problem same here. Am file the RTI. The Sivaganga district give the permission to collect the amount. The delivery amount different between the kilometres. And They are send the Kilometres and amount.
அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம் 😊 நான் ஒரு gas cylinder delivery man ன் மகன், மேல வீடியோவில் உள்ளது போல delivery man ku குறைந்தப்பட்ச சம்பளம் தருகிறார்கள் 6000-9000(ஏஜென்சியை பொருத்து)/மாதம் அதுவும் கடந்த இரண்டு மூன்று ஆண்டுகளாகத்தான் நடைமுறை படுத்தியுள்ளனர், தொழிலாளர்களின் பல போராட்டங்களுக்கு பின்னரே பெறப்பட்டது.அவர்களுக்கு வயது முதிர்ந்த பிறகு PF பணம் தரவேண்டும் ஆனால் ஏஜென்சி அதையும் தருவதில்லை. ஏஜென்சியில் இருந்து தரப்படும் சம்பளம் இன்றைய காலத்தில் எங்களின் அன்றாட தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்ய கூட போதுமானதாக இல்லை, அவர்கள் தினமும் 25 முதல் 50 வரை 30கிலோ எடையுள்ள cylinder-களை delivery செய்வதால் அவர்களுக்கு தோள்பட்டை எலும்பு இறக்கம், முறிவு, கால் எலும்புகள் வழுவிலத்தல் போன்ற உடல் பாதிப்பதுகளை எதிர்கொள்கின்றனர். இதுபோக பிள்ளைகளின் கல்வி செலவு, மருத்துவ செலவு , அன்றாட வாழ்வின் தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்ய நீங்கள் தரும் பணமே கை கொடுகின்றன. ஏன் அவர்கள் வேரு வேலைக்கு போகவில்லை என்றால் அவர்கள் வேலைக்கு சேரும் காலத்தில் அவர்களுக்கு இதில் கிடைக்கும் பணம் போதியதாக இருந்தது, அப்பொழுதில் இருந்து இந்த வேலையே செய்வதால் வேரு எந்த வேலையும் தெரியாது மற்றும் இப்பொழுது வேரு வேலைக்கு சென்றாலும் உடல் இளம் வயதினர் போல் உழைத்து வேலையும் பார்க்க முடியாது. பெரும்பாலோரின் குறை பணம் குடுக்கவில்லை என்றால் குறைபாடுள்ள சிலிண்டர்களை தருகிறார்கள் என்று சொல்வது,சில நபர்கள் அவ்வாறு செய்வதுண்டு எல்லோரும் அப்படி இல்லை, அப்படி அவர்கள் போடு வதாகவே இருந்தாலும் சிலிண்டர்களில் குறைபாடு உள்ளதா இல்லையா என சரி பார்ப்பது ஏஜென்சியின் வேலை, delivery man ku delivery செய்வது மட்டுமே அவர்களின் வேலை,நீங்கள் குறை கூற வேண்டும் என்றால் குறைபாடுள்ள சிலிண்டர்களை விநியோகம் செய்யும் ஏஜென்சியின் மீது புகார் அளியுங்கள். இப்போது gas cylinder விலை எப்படி உயர்ந்து உள்ளதோ அப்படித்தான் பெட்ரோல் விலையும் உள்ளது, delivery man வண்டிகளுக்கு பெட்ரோல் போடுவதற்கான பணமும் ஏஜென்சி தருவதில்லை,அதற்கான பணமும் நீங்கள் தருவதை கொண்டே போடுகின்றனர். Gas cylinder விலை உயர்வு மூலம் நீங்கள் அடையும் துன்பம் delivery man-களுக்கும் புரியும் தெரியும் ,நீங்கள் delivery man -னிடம் பேசி பாருங்கள் அவர்களின் கஷ்டமும் உங்களுக்கு புரியும்.

In all areas they are getting the charges - if we ask the delivery boy he will tell this is my salary- when we ask the agencies they will tell don’t pay anything extra - everyone is the culprit- if we told anything strictly they will place the valve leak cylinder purposefully
Yes when we don't give the tips they are asking, then delivery boys are delaying the gas delivery purposefully and they say to get the cylinder from the agency.
This happened around 10 years ago. The delivery guy regularly demanded 30rs. When I told him that we won't give, he said he won't bring the cylinder inside the house, his salary is only to bring it till the door and went. When I called the agency and complained they said it's their duty to bring it till the kitchen and they said not to give extra money. But from the next month that guy purposely avoided our house and delivered to all other houses, I ended up getting scolded by my grandparents for making their life difficult ☹

I am using induction stove most of the time so we just use two or three cylinder a year. They charge 50 rupees per cylinder. So I started booking online and refused to pay the delivery fee. When I complained it to the Bharath gas (my cylinder brand) they said "if we get three or more consecutive complaints on a single dealer we will revoke their licence". Immediately they called me and delivered the cylinder without delivery fee. But they delayed the delivery each time purposely just because I made a complaint. So I complained again in online portal. This is second complaint. Will see how it goes the next time.
@@YaseenJ my usage is always under 200 units. So not a lot. No ac in my home. All of my lights are LED . All TV's are flat screen led-lcd ones. Fans are bldc. Using a inverter refrigerator (never turn it off. Otherwise it will consume more power during startup). With this setup my power consumption is always under 200. But during summer it may go upto 300 as the fans run all the time.

This same question I asked the delivery agent. He gave the following explanation, 1. The delivery agent books a Tata ace mini truck to load all the cylinders from the gas agency to the delivery area. They unload it at a spot in the delivery area and from there deliver the cylinder to each house in their motorbike. Hence they ask the extra amount for the rent for Tata ace and fuel expenses for his motorbike. This ensures fast delivery. 2. Otherwise he says they have to load 2 cylinders in their bicycles and travel from gas agency to the houses. Again travel to the gas agency, take 2 cylinders and travel to another house. This will be time consuming and delivery may be late since they can deliver only less houses in their bicycles. Main problem is the gas agency. They don’t provide fuel expenses to their delivery agent and expect them to deliver the cylinders in bicycle.
All gas agencies are torturing not only their delivery persons but also we customers unnecessarily spending extra amount each time. Already govt stopped subsidy in addition to this rate reached to the max without any restrictions. Our Govt should stop rate increase first to help middle class people

Bill amount includes salary,dealer commission etc.Concern Authorities, Labour Commissioner should take n/action....they must check whether dealers are employing delivery boys as per guidelines ,sales&paying salary accodingly...

Same thing happened 3 yrs ago. We complained in agency. Thereafter they are providing damage cylinder and leaked ones. Sometimes very late delivery too.. If we spread awareness also..Nothing changes... Kuthuthu than aaganum..
Absolutely right,i complaint through mail afterwards i didn't get my cylinder on time ,no one came to delivery they sent always a senior citizens.after seeing senior citizens i gave + 50 without asking.today i got my booking cylinder rate1036+50😥😥😥😥
Both the HP and BPCL supplying cylinders with rustic and unpainted with poor conditions. Most times cylinders seal is worn-out and manipulated. Concerned authorities should take note and punish the irresponsible officials or agencies or delivery man who indulges in malpractices. Next, giving Rs 20 as tips is depends upon individuals and delivery man cannot shout or demand.
Every time delivery boy spoke very rudely to my mom( age 60+) while delivering the gas asking 40 for first floor ..I called customer care and explained the incident to change the person who deliver cylinder . Next time that person was changed

This is still continuing getting additional cost of Rs.30.00 for delivery of the Cylinder. If he collects Rs.30 for each cylinder, he will get Rs.30 thousand per month for delivery of 1000 cylinders plus salary. For these people income will be more than Rs.25 thousand. They are not poor.

In chennai they are asking 55/60.Rs(round off with cylin price) extra. Previously we were in second floor, so we gave without questioning. But now they are asking same amount for ground floor too. Atha pathi keta "engalukku salary kedayathu, godown romba thoorathula irukku, vilai vaasi yeripochu, ithu than enga sambalam" apdinu solrapo sarinu kuduthudrathu. If not next cylinder delivery will be purposefully get delayed.
In my opinion their job is really tuf, carrying heavy cylinder in their shoulder is difficult. Not everyone can do this job, so let's consider their duty and give them charges which makes them to live better.
they are getting paid for their job and everybody is working hard so if we keep paying everybody extra money then we need to take loan from bank to survive
ஒரு சிலிண்டருக்கு 40 ரூபாய் வாங்குவாங்க., அந்த வகையில் பார்த்தால் குறைந்தது 20 சிலிண்டர் டெலிவரி பண்ணுவாங்க. அப்படினா 20*40 ஒரு நாளைக்கு 800 ரூபாய் 30 நாளைக்கு 30*800= 24000 ரூபாய் அது மட்டும் இல்ல எல்லா ஏஜென்சியும் குறைந்தது 8000 ரூபாயாவது சம்பளமாக வழங்கும், அப்படியானால் 24000+8000= 32000 ரூபாய் மாதம் வருமானம் வாங்குறாங்க.., நாங்கலாம் இந்த 32000 வாங்க 3 மாதம் உழைக்க வேண்டும்

Recently filed a case in RTI. The price of the cylinder is inclusive of delivery only. I stopped the tips of Rs.40/ cylinder from this month. My agency is confirmed they paying Rs.15,000/ month for their workers.

It's your wish u can give or not, If you know the value of money you can't speak like this , not everyone will be in same economic situation (like you).

They charged me 40 rupees but am in first floor. I am complained in Indian oil portal, the delivery person returned the money but they tortured me by delaying all subsequent deliveries. They made me run everywhere for making the address change. Rekha agency in medavakkam is worst distributor, staffs behave like govt officers

all together ask via RTI online about that particular agencies staff salaries point by point. you will get answer within 15 days Note: there must be mass RTI regarding this. arrange a meating of ur arear and everyone has to ask via RTI by seperate application. there will be no use if one are 2 person asks. then he will be the only beneficiary.

In my area they charge 40 or 50rs. In village side 100. Charging from single person point of view seems like less money. But considering every home seems like corruption. Per day if he delivers 10 houses ,keeping 40rs as average. It comes 400 apart from his salary. Monthly 12000,yearly 144000. On an average if his salary is 15000,yearly 180000 and commission salary 144000. Total 324000 which is more than a fresher salary in IT.
In ola and rapido also they are doing the same...if we don't give extra amount they are cancelling the drive...they are asking 60rs extra for each ride

This is really kind of awkward situation to handle. Delivery man very well does hardwork from bringing the heavy weight gas cylinder to floors accordingly. Customer we pay whatever amount in the bill through bank card or credit card and it is really discomforted to pay again 30 or 50 in cash. At same time feeling pity of hardworking men and no heart to disappoint the hardworking man. Better, agency should charge the gas cylinder without delivery charge Rs 50 and instead get the fixed delivery charge handed over to delivery man in cash.
In many places metered piped gas line supply is given on pilot basis similar to electricity. Once this comes no more cylinders and no delivery charges.

30 rs per house x60 houses per day = 1800 Rupees per day x 27 days =48,600 rs side income + basic salary 5,000 from Agency . So Total = 53,600 Rupees/month minimum they earn. Your mom 1 day salary 300 rs x 26 days = 7,800 Rs per month. He earns 6 times more than your mom's hard earned money bro.
Yes it is true the gas agency do not pay the worker, more than that the agency even do not pay vehicle fuel charges and asking delivery boy to pay from their delivery charges. This can be resolved if only the gas company directly deposited the salary to the delivery boy in their bank account instead asking gas agency to pay it.

Make a video evidence and forward it to petroleum company. . If leakage is not repaired or replaced immediately, file a FIR in nearby police station.

Due to heavy lifting through out the day most of them will have health problems. If one person delivers 20 cylinder for a day he will earn Rs.25000 for a month and owner will not give him salary because of this, delivery guy will definitely prefer this over get Rs.15000 salary. I will tell you from my personal experience and many others personal experience too. 1. If we don't pay, next time they'll never bring the cylinder on time. 2. If we don't pay the second time also, they'll inform the agency that house Door is locked and can't be delivered. 3. I had to go in Auto and take the cylinder myself as agency said no deliver person available when we needed the gas cylinder. It costed me 200 for auto charges. Note: 40-50 rupees is mandatory, else these delivery guy's won't come and deliver your cylinders. If you complaint next time you will never get the cylinder at all, they skip your house alone and deliver in other houses. As everyone says in comments section, better to pay 40-50 rupees and avoid loosing your peace.

This happened around 10 years ago. The delivery guy regularly demanded 30rs. When I told him that we won't give, he said he won't bring the cylinder inside the house, his salary is only to bring it till the door and went. When I called the agency and complained they said it's their duty to bring it till the kitchen and they said not to give extra money. But from the next month that guy purposely avoided our house and delivered to all other houses, I ended up getting scolded by my grandparents for making their life difficult ☹

I am using induction stove most of the time so we just use two or three cylinder a year. They charge 50 rupees per cylinder. So I started booking online and refused to pay the delivery fee. When I complained it to the Bharath gas (my cylinder brand) they said "if we get three or more consecutive complaints on a single dealer we will revoke their licence". Immediately they called me and delivered the cylinder without delivery fee. But they delayed the delivery each time purposely just because I made a complaint.
So I complained again in online portal. This is second complaint. Will see how it goes the next time.

Otherwise it will consume more power during startup). With this setup my power consumption is always under 200. But during summer it may go upto 300 as the fans run all the time.

This same question I asked the delivery agent. He gave the following explanation,
1. The delivery agent books a Tata ace mini truck to load all the cylinders from the gas agency to the delivery area. They unload it at a spot in the delivery area and from there deliver the cylinder to each house in their motorbike. Hence they ask the extra amount for the rent for Tata ace and fuel expenses for his motorbike. This ensures fast delivery.
2. Otherwise he says they have to load 2 cylinders in their bicycles and travel from gas agency to the houses. Again travel to the gas agency, take 2 cylinders and travel to another house. This will be time consuming and delivery may be late since they can deliver only less houses in their bicycles.
Main problem is the gas agency. They don’t provide fuel expenses to their delivery agent and expect them to deliver the cylinders in bicycle.
All gas agencies are torturing not only their delivery persons but also we customers unnecessarily spending extra amount each time. Already govt stopped subsidy in addition to this rate reached to the max without any restrictions. Our Govt should stop rate increase first to help middle class people

In my area they charge 40 or 50rs. In village side 100. Charging from single person point of view seems like less money. But considering every home seems like corruption. Per day if he delivers 10 houses ,keeping 40rs as average. It comes 400 apart from his salary. Monthly 12000,yearly 144000. On an average if his salary is 15000,yearly 180000 and commission salary 144000. Total 324000 which is more than a fresher salary in IT.

This is really kind of awkward situation to handle. Delivery man very well does hardwork from bringing the heavy weight gas cylinder to floors accordingly. Customer we pay whatever amount in the bill through bank card or credit card and it is really discomforted to pay again 30 or 50 in cash. At same time feeling pity of hardworking men and no heart to disappoint the hardworking man. Better, agency should charge the gas cylinder without delivery charge Rs 50 and instead get the fixed delivery charge handed over to delivery man in cash.
In many places metered piped gas line supply is given on pilot basis similar to electricity. Once this comes no more cylinders and no delivery charges.

Yes it is true the gas agency do not pay the worker, more than that the agency even do not pay vehicle fuel charges and asking delivery boy to pay from their delivery charges. 1. No guarantee for life
2. For more than half of houses delivery will be on the first or second floor.
3. Due to heavy lifting through out the day most of them will have health problems.
If one person delivers 20 cylinder for a day he will earn Rs.25000 for a month and owner will not give him salary because of this, delivery guy will definitely prefer this over get Rs.15000 salary.

If the delivery guys not getting proper salary, they can go for some other job right? But they will not leave this Job. Because they are getting very good money in this delivery job. I've seen so many delivery guys working in the same gas agency for many years in the same area. Government should implement strict rules for the gas agency, not collect additional money. If they still demand extra money, the agency should cut their one day salary, if proved. Where will poor people go when these kind of charges over burden them????

Book gas and make online payment brother, so at the time of delivery you need to say otp during that time you receive cylinder and don't give extra amount as you already paid for it. Even if they ask means then you say to them you won't say the opt to them nu.
Here in coimbatore I doing that only, making online payment for cylinder and receiving it without giving any extra amount

Bro idhellam vera engayaachum poi sollunga. I support all awareness videos but this one is not going to help anyone.
I will tell you from my personal experience and many others personal experience too.
1. If we don't pay, next time they'll never bring the cylinder on time.
2. If we don't pay the second time also, they'll inform the agency that house Door is locked and can't be delivered.
3. I had to go in Auto and take the cylinder myself as agency said no deliver person available when we needed the gas cylinder. It costed me 200 for auto charges.
Note: 40-50 rupees is mandatory, else these delivery guy's won't come and deliver your cylinders. If you complaint next time you will never get the cylinder at all, they skip your house alone and deliver in other houses.
As everyone says in comments section, better to pay 40-50 rupees and avoid loosing your peace.
