The key? Start at 5am. You will always get trips in like 2 minutes and by prime time (7am-10am) you will be in West LA. Literally like clockwork. You’ll hit your consecutive trip bonuses and you won’t have to worry about driving kids to school 3 minutes away and getting stuck in the area like you do if you start at 7 or 8am.
@@TroveLessTraveled_ thank you yeah I start at 7am so I guess that's the time kids go to school and yeah for a 3min ride it can take u up to 10min or more thanks
@@dozerhernandez7293 Trust me I've been there. It looks so enticing because the surge hits south central around 7:15-7:30 every school day so you can get a solid 2x surge ride.... that goes .5 miles and then you're stuck in school traffic near the school. Literally the worst!

@@dozerhernandez7293 Honestly I haven't been doing Uber and Lyft at the moment. I've been strictly driving DoorDash trying to hit the huge 200 delivery bonus and only doing destination filters with Uber and Lyft to and from the areas I'm working. So... honestly in the past 3 weeks I've done like 5 total rideshare trips.
What is the most rides you have ever done in one day? Also, do you recommend the fast track thing that you have on your dashboard? I don’t see anyone talking about that and wanted to know if it is a good investment
Not an uber driver but I drive in Orange County all the time and the fast trak is a life saver on the 91 and also on the 10 in LA
I'd definitely recommend the Fastrak. It only works on the 10 and the 110 in Los Angeles but it can save 10 minutes sometimes just on the stretch from the 105 to the 10 heading northbound. I never drive solo and pay, so it only costs me $1.00 a month to have it in the car. Do keep in mind I live very close to 110 so I use that freeway often. I'm not sure where you live/typically drive, but it is a nice perk to have!

haha just rewatched this and this was me yesterday to get that 60 bucks. Should make a video Stressing to drivers about being offline 6hrs. I guess i was offline 5:56 minutes so my drivingtime never reset

How many hrs those uber let you drive per day ?
I think the max you can drive a day is 12. It used to be 16 if I recall but I have never driven 12 hours straight to see what happens after that.
@@TroveLessTraveled_ I run my own mobile detail in the san Bernardino, Ca area, i really would like to try and become a lyft/uber driver, raining season is just around the corner and it gets super slow for my detail business. Is there good money doing lyft/uber from 3am to 4pm mom-Fri in L.A? Thank you and God bless
@@eliseolopez7367 Yeah I mean if you're out near San Bernardino the traffic wouldn't be nearly as bad I would assume. While the passenger pays a flat price before entering the vehicle, the driver gets paid per mile and per minute of the trip. I find it's most enjoying early in the morning when the freeways are clear. You're able to rack up long trips and hit Uber incentives faster. In Los Angeles I average about $22-23/hour before taking out money for gas. I think I probably go through about a gallon of gas every 2-3 hours.

@California Driver how does the Hours refreshes? every time you turn the app Off it will slowly add hrs/minutes to it? or you only have 12 hrs limit Per Day? plus can you turn Uber in a full time job and quit your 9-5? I'm in SF CA btw . looking forward to more of your video

Not sure about Orange County, but Anaheim would probably be the best. More tourists, Santa Ana airport is there. For Los Angeles I would say Burbank area would be better.

Great video just what i was looking for i currently do ubereats,im going to try uber passenger but man 30 trips is alot?
40 trips in a single day was incredibly hard. A lot of Uber Pools that day. Last week I did 12 hours straight without logging off or going to the bathroom and I made about $300 but only 26 trips.

Why do I feel most Uber and Lyft drivers face the same issues. Eating cheap fast foods(bad for health) working long hours. And making less money. I felt I was doing the same thing as everyone. While my friends go on trips, eat good food and enjoy life not sleeping in the car. Hmmmm what am I doing wrong? Dan lok I need more of your videos

But! Minus gasoline )) 40 trips and 10-15$ for Gas it's unreal. Real salary is 10-15$ per hour.
I drive a Prius. Rarely do I use more than $15 for gas in a day. In LA my trips are hardly over 3-5 miles. For an entire day I may drive 200 miles.
@@TroveLessTraveled_ Yes, the Prius actually does get 50 MPG.If your driving consists of purely short, say five mile, trips - you will not get 50 miles per gallon. Plus your engine is running when you stop and wait for a passenger or sometimes it's traffic. Sometimes you have longer trip. 40 trips it's more 200miles. Your real expenses on gasoline are twice as high as $ 15. If you drive 200 miles everyday, you'll have 6,000 miles per month and This is about 72,000 miles per year. That is, after a year of your car worth $ 25,000 turns into a trash.
