4:33 Can tell Doyle is absolutely loving it 😂
remember folks this kinda bluff only works against pros, don't ever do this kinda bluff to amateurs.
or it's gonna be
S U I C I D E
bad egg You can't bluff a fish
True true
As Sammy Farha once said, "with bad players, I have to have a hand"
Klein used his tight old man image to perfection.
I dealt to Bill twice at the 2019 WSOP, he is the definition of a gentleman.
No you didn't
N.U.T. Sack Wow you like to go online and tell people they didn’t do something that they actually did do? You have a sad life my friend.
@@yeayea4072 stop telling bs to strangers mate. My life is lovely btw
N.U.T. Sack 🤣 You are as low as it gets. I’ll be at the WSOP again this year. We can meet up if you’d like so I can smack some sense into you? Oh wait, you’re a low life loser and you won’t be at the WSOP this year... Unfortunate
He donates his winnings. We need more people like him around
Seeing Phil Laak try to speak English here confirms that he's an alien fucking around at poker tables
Sick bluff well played
I love it because he seemingly doesn't have any bluffs, but i hate it because galfond can have all the boats. I mean, besides Q10 what is he trying to get him off of? Thoughts?
Bill is a good recreational player, he won’t be thinking on that level, he probably just thought he could rep the boat and went for it
You are an idiot. He has many blufs. He doesnt have many boats. Klein can only have 22 and J9 as he played on the flop. When an obvious straight closes on the turn, most players pot control with a made hand, since he's an amateur he bets with his draw (thinking that he can rep that straight) or most likely not thinking at all. When he gets raised and call, he only has a flush draw, or sometimes 22. So he limits himself, because he has alot of draw combinations then 22's combos. Galfond with all his skill made a mistake.
@@user-ei6yc1kp3u
Why can't Klein have 99 or JJ or the flop ?!?
@@user-ei6yc1kp3u i said galfond has many boats, not bill. he has Kk, JJ, 99 for boats (since klain doesn't have JJ). And most players would fold flush draws on the turn (except combo draws) there so he actually doesn't have almost any bluffs. And most players wouldn't donk for almost pot on the river into a super strong range as a bluff. And also try not to call people idiots it doesn't serve you well.
@@michaeltrumph121 Cause he would have raised preflop with those hands.
love watching moves like this. really fun from Klein.
Laak with a shoutout to 2+2 at the end there
I just realised that the commentator is none other than the great late Norm MacDonald.
Watch out for all around poker wizards who made millions of dollars in comment section
Ataturk Shirinov heads up game on William hill ?
Im a donkey
GO PAPA!!
perfect river for Bill to make a move
Whoa is that Norm commentating? Where can I find more of that?
High stakes poker season 7. Not on TH-cam anymore unfprtunately.
Norm's a big time gambler don't forget.
All 7 seasons of High Stakes Poker are available on PokerGO. Norm does commentary on all of Season 7.
So sick I thought he was going to call .
When Galfond analyzed the hand he said it was all acting he never even considered calling and tbh I probably wouldn't either. Klein can have J2s, J9o, 99, and 22. Meanwhile Galfond blocks bluffs with the queen of spades in hand so now Klein's only bluffs are 2 combos of 92s and TX of spades which seem unlikely to stick in 67,000 USD on the turn when their opponent is saying they have a JJ KK or QT.
he cannot do that at LATB
funfact: he loses hole winning later against galfond
who is commentating this game his voice sounds familiar
I love this play but Bill got away with a cheap bluff. I deconstructed ranges and it’s a clear call. Phil needs 30% equity and has 35% in the most generous scenario for Bill
Yes, but that's against any random opponent, in say an online cash game. When you have a history with a person its absolutely an exploitative fold you can make. If anyone knows the math and equities its Galfond.
@@daddyfuse50 not to mention that no one was counting combos back then, either. I think It’s an incredible play I would just overbet the pot now a days if I were playing balanced (which of course is not always the right thing to do).
It’s worth mentioning too that he picks an incredible board and runout to make this play. Bluffing with combo draws is inherently balanced
When was this played? Maybe it was before people had clear understanding of the ranges.
"I had the ace jack with the ace of spades..." No, you didn't ya big goof!
He was trying to come off like he had 99 J9 22 KJ are all hands he might just call preflop and raise the flop.
@@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants what are you talking about??? Croak was lying at the end of the clip
anyone know what they mean when they said there was a 9 out there?
My guess is there was a previous hand that a 9 was important. Maybe Klein has had pocket 9s several times in this session? Players remember these things of course.
@@rodneydaly2021 It gave Klein a gutshot with his flush draw... so he had more outs
Klein had a history of saying "always a 9" based on previous pots he had won (not on this show). Think it's his lucky card.
Klein n tidy old school manoeuvre
I don’t know how bill gets away with this every time based on what we see on streams
And it’s not like bill gets mediocre folds
Is that Norm McDonald on commentary?
Yes
can't escape this man
That was a bad fold. Period.
galfonds turn raise is quite small. Klein is getting about 5 to 1 to call the raise on the turn
Croak was the worst player in all history of HSP.
Why? He made the right call on the flop when he was ahead then laid down top pair top kicker when he was behind
Obviously we see the cards but way hand plays out, I think Galfond has to call on the end and hope Klein doesn’t have pocket 2’s. 99 maybe? KJ a long shot but much more likely to have a missed draw, Ks10s, 8s10s... Brave bluff but not a profitable one in long run I wouldn’t have thought
Is that norm McDonald commentating
Yes it is.
Do my ears deceive me or is that Norm Macdonald?
Yes it is.
Only a higher level of thinking player could lay it down so quickly.
He have all the miss draws blockers, and Klein have tight image, i would say profitable fold long term
I mean honestly KJ was all he really could've had. Great bluff.
99 J9 22 JJ
@@justinspirito4919 KK J2
@@vice13 if he flats KK preflop does that seem likely to you?
@@justinspirito4919 He would reraise with a set or two pair on the flop in order to avoid someone getting a flush.
So KJ is the only hand he is repping here. Either KJ or a bluff.
@@ErnisTheFirst he did raise flop, do you mean turn
Ok. I know less than I thought. What about the 9 on the board that was so important?
Probably referring to a previous hand that we did not see of course. My guess is Klein had pocket 9s several times in this session.
99 is the hand that flops sets the most. But it's just poker's superstition
Awesome bluff, Galfond plays a lot of PLO so his PLO instint should’ve came to play
It did...
never rated galfond didn't get the hype
The fist bumps at the end actually piss me off. They wouldnt do it to any other player, so why do they do it to Klein? And i know ppl will say "hes a fish" but its poker.. people bluff. Credit to Doyle for not doing it!
You mean Klein not Perkins, right?
Danny McCrae lol yeh Klein.. I think I just read about the bill Perkins scandal and got muddled up 😂
N sou filho de nenhum desses 3 ta doido e adilson meu pai
Klein didn’t even know what bluff he was trying to represent he kinda said to himself I’m just gonna bet loads and cross me fingers .... eeeeoooorrrr
He was clearly representing a set of 9s
Jay Rohman naaaaaa mate he got balls deep chasing a flush draw and then just thought I’m gonna bet loads on the river and cross me fingers at no point did he think I’ll rep the 9’s full 🤫
@@whatever22638 you're stupid. Klein plays alot of poker and knows what he is doing. You on the other hand have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.
Josh Watson do you play online poker ? If so what’s your screen name ? Should be a giggle looking your stats up on sharkscope
thats terrible poker on both ends
Probably the worse poker commentator in poker history
That's Norm McDonald 🤣
Antonio should never be invited onto a televised poker show after his comment after Croak’s call on the flop. Absolutely no need as well as potentially influencing the hand.
