I'm from Argentina and I was there that night in front row. Actually I was there two nights in a row because her manager Guy Oseary gave me a free ticket because I sang a song for Madonna on my guitar. They were filming a tour documentary in the same style as I'm Going to Tell You a Secret, and I brought my guitar to the concert and sang a song I wrote for her before the show started, they filmed me, and Guy Oseary gave me a free ticket for the next night. But I don't know why the documentary was never finished and never released, but they do have hours and hours of footage from the tour. But anyway I can see myself in front row a couple of times in this tour. And let me tell you, the stadium was clearly oversold every night, it was very hard to breathe, the amount of people was insane. And the energy was out of this world. It wasn't just entertainment, it was like a religious or a spiritual experience. You know, one of those profound experiences when something changes inside of you, when you feel you're being part of something greater than you, something larger than life. Madonna was God and we were her congregation. You couldn't be the same after being there. I will never forget it.
December 8, 2008, my dream was about to become real, there were almost 80k people in the biggest football stadium in Argentina, my country. It was hot, the rain was threatening us, it was the perfect night though. The moment she arrived, I was frozen in disbelief... tears were coming, she was there just couple of meters of me... I'll never forget that moment, never. Argentinian crowd is the best in the world, we are so passionate, affectionate, we don't have any problem in showing our emotions and she felt it... There's a moment in the show, you'll see it, in which she realises how much we love her and she thanks us all quite emotional. To my surprise I knew right there the show was about to be filmed for the DVD!! This is the show, this is the night, I was there... It is a treasure I keep in my heart forever. This was only her second tour visit here since her 1993 Girlie Show Tour. For this S&S leg she did four sold-out shows at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires in December 4-5-7 & 8 in 2008 that averaged 66K passionate fans per night. She is revered here after her last visit in February of 1996 for the filming of the musical Evita. Her award winning portrayal of Eva Peron that focused on Peron’s struggle to find her niché in a big city despite the chauvinism and her subsequent political/social advocacy for the working class, women and the poor that humanized Eva Peron, in addition to Madonna’s affinity for Latin music and culture in her artistry-won Madonna the ardent affection and loyalty of these Argentine fans. This concert cemented the bond between Madonna and these fans. This was my 8th World Tour of hers to see live (this time in London at Wembley Stadium). This is her 'I'm in my 50s but watch we perform rings around every other artist' tour. I think people forget with her that she ages when it comes to her stage shows. People half their age would struggle getting through a show and tour this size. She's not just standing there and performing like most artists her age, she is a show. Incredible woman.

I had been a fan since 1996, but had never had the chance to see her live. So I decided to attend all of her five concerts in Brazil for that tour. Twice in Rio, theee times in Sao Paulo. Pouring rain most of the time. It changed my life. I’ve been to more thirty concerts and the Copacabana xtravaganza for 1,6 million people. I was lucky enough to touch her eight times, interact during concerts, get two of her guitar picks and propose to her in Amsterdam (“are you filthy rich?”). It has been the journey of my life. Shows in the US, the UK, Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Argentina and Brazil. And I am filled with gratitude. ❤
Not to mention the tens of friends i met along the way. People from every backgroung, pockets with all types of depth, queuing together on the streets to see her.

I attended two nights of this concert in São Paulo! I love attending the last leg of a tour because she’s looser on stage and more fun! Argentina was her last stop before Brazil, so… anyway, there’s so much to talk about this first part. First, the car: it didn’t have an engine. It was a person inside the hood who was using some sort of cycle like a bike. For human nature Madonna asked Britney to do the backdrop video. I actually met a guy who attended the concert just to watch that video and then he left 😅 now Vogue was some sort of arrangement she did with Kylie. The Australian singer performed Vogue in her concerts and Madonna got her dancers to wear what Kylie’s dancers wore, or at least very similar outfits. The musical producer for this concert was DJ Enferno, who’s known for doing mashups. So you can expect many more unexpected mixes of her songs 😊

I went to the opening night of this tour in Cardiff, Wales and also managed to get front row for the Wembley Stadium show in London it was an incredible stadium show event!
This tour was the highest selling tour by a solo female artist from 2009 - about 2023 with the eras tour by Taylor swift. Her having this record for that long is super impressive given many big tours have happened even before the eras tour. Madonna to me always has the best tours and it even elevates from here! 👏🏽

This tour is the first time I saw her live. I was 16 and went with my mother. I will never forget, it felt like a fever dream. The show was so much fun, so much energy and a Madonna who started to let loose a bit more on stage and show how much fun she has. Saw every other tour since, except Madame X Tour.
Arianne Phillips, the Oscar nominated designer who M had worked with since Ray of Light, designed the bulk of the tour's costumes. Certain pieces for Madonna were created by Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy (which i believe she's wearing in this act) Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana and Jeremy Scott. She's always had an affinity for boxing, from Ali to Tyson. Her art collection includes portraits of boxers by photographer Irving Penn.

2008 September 20th, I was in the Stade de France, Paris. This tour was such an incredible experience. So wild. Full of energy. The screens, the lights, the sound, choreographies, the set list full of hits, the mixes where amazing! Madonna is the best performer and her tours are pure magic! Love your reaction. This was my first experience and I did it with the best tour (for many years this tour was the most successful by a solo artist in history). I can't explain to you the level of energy in that (River Plate) stadium, I was really in the middle of a sea of human beings and the energy pushed you to move. It was the best experience of my life and thank God I was able to repeat it one more time for her next tour. But this will always be my favorite since it was my first experience and it was really surreal. I feel all that energy go through me every time I see these images and it is very gratifying that you feel that way too, thank you for that. SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA!!!.

Been watching every single video you post so far, and so happy to see you finally here. Sticky and Sweet tour was the first tour where I avoided spoilers for several months after the tour started, so I could walk in blind and be surprised. We traveled from Northern Virginia to New York, Madison Square Garden to see this show, because she didn't play DC on that tour, and I was blown away and surprised so many times throughout the night. "Vogue" from this tour remains one of my all-time fav performances. It's crazy how long your journey has been and what's yet to come ahead...

I was at the Nov 4th, 2008 show in San Diego the very same night Obama won his presidency and Madonna confirming during the show. AN AMAZING TOUR! The love and energy was incredible!🍬❤️🍭
Girls there are songs which was not included on the dvd : Frozen ,Holiday, Dress You UP, you should have a look, amazing performances !! in 2009 this huge stage had collapsed, sadly 2 people of the crew were killed , and others were injured.. Madonna herself visited the families , she provided all the assistance to them 😢.. luckily she has two of this stage, meanwhile one was being building , the other one was being used to another concert… in 2009 she had included a mash up of Holiday / Billie Jean in tribute of Michael Jackson’s death in the concert

I attended two nights of this concert in São Paulo! I love attending the last leg of a tour because she’s looser on stage and more fun! Argentina was her last stop before Brazil, so… anyway, there’s so much to talk about this first part. First, the car: it didn’t have an engine. It was a person inside the hood who was using some sort of cycle like a bike. For human nature Madonna asked Britney to do the backdrop video. I actually met a guy who attended the concert just to watch that video and then he left 😅 now Vogue was some sort of arrangement she did with Kylie. The Australian singer performed Vogue in her concerts and Madonna got her dancers to wear what Kylie’s dancers wore, or at least very similar outfits. The musical producer for this concert was DJ Enferno, who’s known for doing mashups. So you can expect many more unexpected mixes of her songs 😊

I went to the opening night of this tour in Cardiff, Wales and also managed to get front row for the Wembley Stadium show in London it was an incredible stadium show event!

This tour was the highest selling tour by a solo female artist from 2009 - about 2023 with the eras tour by Taylor swift. Her having this record for that long is super impressive given many big tours have happened even before the eras tour.

This tour is the first time I saw her live. I was 16 and went with my mother. I will never forget, it felt like a fever dream. The show was so much fun, so much energy and a Madonna who started to let loose a bit more on stage and show how much fun she has. Saw every other tour since, except Madame X Tour.

Arianne Phillips, the Oscar nominated designer who M had worked with since Ray of Light, designed the bulk of the tour's costumes. Certain pieces for Madonna were created by Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy (which i believe she's wearing in this act) Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana and Jeremy Scott.
She's always had an affinity for boxing, from Ali to Tyson. Her art collection includes portraits of boxers by photographer Irving Penn.

2008 September 20th, I was in the Stade de France, Paris. This tour was such an incredible experience. So wild. Full of energy. The screens, the lights, the sound, choreographies, the set list full of hits, the mixes where amazing!

This was my first experience and I did it with the best tour (for many years this tour was the most successful by a solo artist in history). I can't explain to you the level of energy in that (River Plate) stadium, I was really in the middle of a sea of human beings and the energy pushed you to move. It was the best experience of my life and thank God I was able to repeat it one more time for her next tour. But this will always be my favorite since it was my first experience and it was really surreal. I feel all that energy go through me every time I see these images and it is very gratifying that you feel that way too, thank you for that. SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA!!!.

Been watching every single video you post so far, and so happy to see you finally here. Sticky and Sweet tour was the first tour where I avoided spoilers for several months after the tour started, so I could walk in blind and be surprised. We traveled from Northern Virginia to New York, Madison Square Garden to see this show, because she didn't play DC on that tour, and I was blown away and surprised so many times throughout the night. "Vogue" from this tour remains one of my all-time fav performances. It's crazy how long your journey has been and what's yet to come ahead...

Girls there are songs which was not included on the dvd : Frozen ,Holiday, Dress You UP, you should have a look, amazing performances !! in 2009 this huge stage had collapsed, sadly 2 people of the crew were killed , and others were injured.. Madonna herself visited the families , she provided all the assistance to them 😢.. luckily she has two of this stage, meanwhile one was being building , the other one was being used to another concert… in 2009 she had included a mash up of Holiday / Billie Jean in tribute of Michael Jackson’s death in the concert
