Not much more to say about Jaipur, one of the best couples games and a heck of a good short 2 player game. Portable, doesn't need a huge table, and highly interactive but not in a nasty way. Very hard to go wrong with this if you have someone to play it with. Probably good for kids too.
@@3MBG I was actually surprised that you mentioned the other end condition - I think out of ~100 or so rounds of Jaipur I've played, I've seen 1 end with no more cards, all the others have ended with the tokens being gone.
This is one of those rare games that never seems to get old. Along with Lost Cities, it's a game that my wife and I play when we we only have 20-30 minutes after the kids go down.
Good video, great game, but just a quick comment that another end condition is when three of the color token stacks run out. That is how my games end about 99% of the time.
I’d be curious what you think of Mystic Market. It’s a little simpler, but has a lot of similarities, and it can play up to 4. Pretty cheap and widely available too I think. Doesn’t play quite as well at 2 as 3-4 maybe, but a gem my wife and I really enjoy.
I'll tell you. We owned this and we sold it. It never felt like there was any *there* there. Turns almost always felt obvious. I've constantly though: what am I missing?

Oh! Is there still a "special" camel card in this version? The first printing has a camel with a stuffed panda wedged in its pack.
I haven't noticed it!
100% with your assessment. My wife and I have played it dozens of times.
Great video for a great game.
I think there’s also a game end condition when three of the six token piles are finished that I didn’t hear you mention.
That's because i forgot about that one ;)

@@l0rdbulbThat was my exact thought also! I have yet to see a game end by running out of cards.
Top 10 game for me. Absolutely work of art. Ive played 100+ times and its always exciting. It is flawless imo.
I love this game. So easy to teach and play.
This is a game I recommend to just about anybody.
Like everyone else already said: Lovely little game. One of the best 2p games ever.

yep, pretty much the perfect game in that scenario, as thats when Steph and I play it too ;)
Yeap Lost Cities, Hanamikoji, and this makes for a wonderful 2 player starters pack!
One of the best couple's games ever.
My favorite card game. Great review as always!

I completely blanked on it.
Bought the game after watching this. My girlfriend and I had a great time. Cheers
Excellent!
Love this game. But I prefer the previous edition, it was more legible

I've not played it, but i will add it to the list to check out.

Dunno? Maybe wanting a bit too much from it?
I love Jaipur, especially since I win over my spouse
