I always feel so bad for the kids with Karens for parents, I understand the pain so well and having to cry in public and feel horrible for the people who have to deal with their yelling.. then have to walk out with your head down in shame and embarrassment knowing that there's nothing you can do to apologize (or have mouth a sorry/hand signal an apology). You risk getting yelled at in the car for getting involved or saying anything, you get yelled at for crying, talking, moving or doing anything after the fight. You just become the punching bag of anger to them.

I got into an argument because a man was shouting at my young kid twice in front of all the other kids at an indoor playground when he was just sitting at the top of the slide waiting for his turn. @Brian yes there is a store manager. but we can't just go get them because most of the time they aren't there or no one knows where they are. (I've only seen my store manager like 5 times n I've worked there for almost two years) usually when someone ask me for a manager I say ok then go tell some other random employee because im really bad at confrontation. each section of the store has Dif managers, mine are opg managers. so if someone has a problem at the cash registers, meat dept, fitting room, etc my manager can't really do much.

Actually, if a citizen inadvertently drives into a military base, they are directed to turn around; I was military police and while MP's have authority on military land, they have limited powers to deal with citizens other than detain them for civilian police to deal with if they have committed an offence, just like citizen powers of arrest.

They are military police, some of them are specialists, soldiers that will mess up anyone attempting to enter a base illegally. They carry fully automatic rifles, trespassers won't get very far.
