While she handled it poorly; there was no reason for the ambulance to park there. She was not on duty. There was no emergency. You and I can't park in the bike lanes either. But the announcer kept going on about emergencies - which this clearly wasn't.

When the ambulance park the sirens stop playing and the driver waits there as the other staff goes to take whoever might need help unless they actually need it since like every vehicle you cannot leave the vehicle unlocked without anyone inside in case someone decide to steal it or whatever. Exactly because they were standing there doing nothing there's a chance something happened and the driver was waiting for the collegues to come back. People don't feel sick just in their home and sometimes ambulance, police car and fireman trucks can't always find a parking spots during a emergency be it because all the parking spots are taken or because there's no parking spot at all so they can park where they need even if not allowed by law, but when it's a emergency they do tend to close an eye if it's not too much in the way or it's a really serious situation.

Although this Karen is extremely childish, anoying and overreacting (like all Karens and Darrens), I'm sorry friend but emergency vehicles like ambulances, fire trucks and police when they are not in an emergency must behave like any other car in traffic. And there are numerous cases where public servants abuse their powers and illegally park their vehicles where they please, and in some cases causing accidents. When you see an emergency car stopped in a place where it would normally be forbidden to park and they don't have the emergency light on, you can be sure that it's just another public servant thinking he's above the law.
For number 6, most busses actually have rules against talking to the driver because their job is really hard. They have to operate a bus, be on time, and deal with traffic, and people arguing doesn't help

As someone who rode the bus for a short time before getting my car... YES, it's stressful. I've seen it but I also get away from it when my stop is up. THEY DON'T! They have to deal with druggies, people who are not mentally stable, they get verbally threatened (I've seen and heard it). I give a hug to any of them if I could cause it's A LOT mentally, physically and emotionally.
Do keep in mind most places have rules on busses that you're not even allowed to talk to the bus driver when they're driving and only when the bus is parked. You also have to have a specialised driving licence to drive a bus depending on where you're from so to be fair, the woman shouldn't have even been talking to the guy driving, let alone nagging and bitching at him for her being late. If you take the damn bus, get it so you'd be early to where you're going, not based 'on time' because traffic can't be judged before hand. Yes, he handled it pretty bad but at the same time the woman should have been thrown off the bus the second she was giving him trouble.

The guy arguing with the gal at the hotel was such a tool! There were 4 people in his party - and the room had a king bed and a pullout couch for his kids. I think the kids will survive a night sharing a bed. Not many hotel rooms come with 3 beds - what did he expect ? Of course most hotels do have a few rollaway beds for occasions just like this.

I start recording the second I leave my car in front of the customer's house and record as I hand the customer their food bags IN THEIR HANDS. How was she treating him badly? She used the word yo in a friendly manner and he jumped down her throat while recording her. I would bet everything I have that it wouldn't have been an issue if the employee was a male or African American. Plus, he used yo to talk to another customer and referred to her as sweetheart in the most condescending tone. I have been a nurse for 25 years and it took me so long to figure out how to respectfully place boundaries and demand respect that I give others. This girl is young so he also used that to his advantage and he took full use of it. She did nothing wrong and I would have either gotten another employee to check him out or refused him service. There has to be consequences for bad behavior.

As someone who rode the bus for a short time before getting my car... YES, it's stressful. I've seen it but I also get away from it when my stop is up. THEY DON'T! They have to deal with druggies, people who are not mentally stable, they get verbally threatened (I've seen and heard it). I give a hug to any of them if I could cause it's A LOT mentally, physically and emotionally.

Do keep in mind most places have rules on busses that you're not even allowed to talk to the bus driver when they're driving and only when the bus is parked. You also have to have a specialised driving licence to drive a bus depending on where you're from so to be fair, the woman shouldn't have even been talking to the guy driving, let alone nagging and bitching at him for her being late.
If you take the damn bus, get it so you'd be early to where you're going, not based 'on time' because traffic can't be judged before hand. Yes, he handled it pretty bad but at the same time the woman should have been thrown off the bus the second she was giving him trouble.

How was she treating him badly? She used the word yo in a friendly manner and he jumped down her throat while recording her. I would bet everything I have that it wouldn't have been an issue if the employee was a male or African American. Plus, he used yo to talk to another customer and referred to her as sweetheart in the most condescending tone. I have been a nurse for 25 years and it took me so long to figure out how to respectfully place boundaries and demand respect that I give others. This girl is young so he also used that to his advantage and he took full use of it. She did nothing wrong and I would have either gotten another employee to check him out or refused him service. There has to be consequences for bad behavior.
Where is this idea that "yo" is exclusively an AA word come from? My family's white and everyone I know has used it for anyone and everyone our whole lives.
