I discovered your channel about a week ago......I AM ADDICTED!! I love all the history you give and find, plus the scenery is always breathtaking! Thank you for sharing!!!!
Another awesome hunt! You never cease to amaze. The fact that you are willing to hike deep into the woods every single week says alot about your level of dedication to the hobby. The fact that you never walk away empty handed says alot about your dedication to researching the areas you detect in. I would love to have people like yourself close to share my passion with. I have quite a few people to detect with, but no one to obsess over the research with.
What a great intro Brad. I felt like I was watching a movie. Great finds as always. Love the hard times token and that awesome suspender clasp. Grats on so many coppers again this year and I hope 2018 brings you more great finds....because we get to watch..lol. TY & HH. Paul.
I don't subscribe very often but you do fantastic and interesting hunting. Also, I love Vermont and through your videos you enhance some great memories. Thank you so much.
Hi Brad, great to see another video from you, can't wait till the video's go back to one a week ;). A cool hunt with some nice finds, good job. Thank you. x
Nice Hunt Brad. Early to Mid 19th Century Site with coins a token and artifacts. Its like opening a window and peering back eight or nine generations into the past. Thank You for sharing my friend :-))
A fine days hunting Brad, love how you get excited about those coppers...I'm always chuffed to find any coins, but here in the UK old coppers are everywhere!
Wow brad you’ve been metal detecting for a long time .. how come I have never seen your videos until now .. thank goodness I found you I really like your videos .. knowledge is key when you learn something new ..
Recently discovered your channel love it. I've done a ton of detecting myself. It drives me to Madness that you would just dig without clearing away the leaves LOL I always especially on deep targets use my foot to scrape away the leaves. And then I will Stomp The Ground over the target. If your target is tricky deep iron the stomp will break the halo effect and your signal will disappear. If it's silver or whatever signal will be stronger.
I always look forward to seeing a new video from Green Mountain. One of the advantages we have in Connecticut is that there is no hunting on Sunday. We still wear orange, sometimes, just to be safe.
Hey Brad, your videography is getting super! i have to "log in later" to give you "the thumbs up"; after the mrs. and i watch you ("and been catching up") on the big screen. we appreciate and enjoy all of your efforts and info.. your respect for others is great! please keep up the good work. best regards, walt & staff.
I've been binge watching your videos for the past week and I find myself laughing out loud whenever you rebel against what commenters write. Love the videos!
Hi Bead, Haven't commented before. Watched your videos and like your comments as you hunt . no bad language and very nice dialog. It is like I was there with you as you hunt and dig.Wish I could go with you sometime.
Another great video! I have seen those keyhole escutcheon's on sugar chests. I have seen one that was solid gold, not plated. As a deer hunter and a metal detectorist, I have found myself on both sides of this issue. I try to persuit both hobbies on private, posted land. When I am in the woods during deer season, I wear a orange vest as well as a orange hat. A hat alone does very little good if it is partially covered with a jacket hood. Love your videos, keep em coming!
I really enjoy your expeditions keep up the good work and I know this is a late reply but you would do yourself a favor and a hunter by wearing an approved blaze Orange vest that jacket is deer color and with the hood up from behind you are a tempting target. God Bless
you are so right about wearing reflective orange or high reflective clothing But ultimately the responsibility and the blame comes down to the shooter. Hunters have to positively identify their target anytime, hunting is not a war zone shooting at anything you hear or move at least here in Canada
Another good day the token was my favorite till you found the bottle stopper. It is neat to see something from everyday life so many years ago that we don't recognize today.
Brad, good job on another great video. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing. Looks like your subscribers are heading toward the 20k mark.... Proof that your producing quality stuff. Keep em coming... spring/summer will be here before you know it. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As a devoted Vermont's I love your metal victor finds, but resending being safe in the woods dangerous during so-called deer hunting season. Hope you're safe. Keep the great videos coming. Hope fully finds of our great history !
Brad, you are a lucky dude to live where you do and have the lifestyle you enjoy. God has truly blessed you. Best wishes to you and your family in the future and keep on diggin! What is your partner up to these days? My wife and I are moving back to Reno soon, and I can't wait to research some of the old mining towns and use my detector to hopefully uncover some of the history of the Old West.
Always interesting, Brad. On that bottle seal-I've dug a 2 similar. One crumbled to nothing, the other I still have (along with the bottle). Thanks for taking us along.
Great videos, I enjoy them!...That is beautiful country where you are located...The trees around that lake had beautiful colors, reds, blues yellows...Your 1863 'thick' cent were of copper nickel material, dated from 1857 thru 1864, The 57's & 58's are Flying eagles...They are still good pieces and collectible...Good luck with your detecting.
Slow start and strong finish. Very nice discoveries. Congratulations on beating your previous years copper finds. Scenery was excellent and good rational on digs during open season. Looking forward to your next video.
Great hunt results even though you did not feel so. the hard-times token, three coins, a beautiful buckle or suspender catch, the buttons, etc.!!! Well done! Also, you are completely right about it being OK to detect, during hunting season, on private posted land.
Love everything, vidéo,Hunts, finds, the way you explain ,i learned alot following you.keep on digging, looking foreword to m'y 2nd dessin with m'y néw Garrett AT pro ,from Gaspésie Québec.👍
Must have warmed up the finds were neat things why put a stick in it ?! Yeah could have been gold coins ,very interesting place looking forward the next one !!
Coinage is good! Our snow this year has been feast, or famine, and we have had -10 F to 50+ F temps thrown in also. It's nice the weather has cooperated, and you could get out in December. 🙂
My favorite of all was the key whole that's exactly what i love to find all the things that tie to the home or personal use history is awesome and we need to remember we enjoy what we do because these brave people made a way and life in some really tough country. Imagine living there with no support no big stores or electricity or running water pretty cool 😎 stuff man and you know they had to be tough to make it.
Love this Chanel I got my first detector in 1995 when I was 7 years old I’ve Neaver found a large cent anywhere in nh or Vermont this year for Christmas my other half bought me a garret 400 detector we are supposed to go to vero beach in fl wish me luck
Syphilis cream! LOL! Great video and finds. The HT token was a good find but I liked the suspender buckle the best. I like your new intro-outro also. Thanks for sharing and HH, Dave.
Vermont hunters have to have a leg up on most others around the nation given their longer Eurotrash history compared to everyone else in the country except the New England area. You find some really nice things going as far back as one can go short of robbed from the Natives Spanish Gold. I enjoy your vids. Thanks.
Very nice results. I like the tokens. Found 2 myself this year - different style. I'm located mid state, eastern border. Enjoy your vids. You do a great job. Thanks for taking us along
I discovered your channel about a week ago......I AM ADDICTED!! I love all the history you give and find, plus the scenery is always breathtaking! Thank you for sharing!!!!

A fine days hunting Brad, love how you get excited about those coppers...I'm always chuffed to find any coins, but here in the UK old coppers are everywhere!

Your enthusiasm is infectious! Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated. Patty
Thanks a lot, Patty!

Well done as usual! Always enjoyable! Thanks again!
Thanks for watching Roger!
That kinda reminded me of a ship's half penny. Nice largy & suspender buckle. Watch for stray bullets ricocheting.
Just curious, what do you do with the coins you find? Do keep them, sell them?
ginger calonge Usually people keep them. They’re worth more to them because they found it rather than a couple bucks and never seeing it again.
As always my weeks been made better by one of your posts! Keep on keepin on!
Awe thanks a lot Jim!
