Teams are usually quite friendly towards each other, even if the show doesn't show it as much on TV. There are exceptions, but even Ray Billings who plays a cocky villain on Battlebots is a teddybear who is friendly with most if not all other teams.

We are in the Drum Spinner Ascension in the heavyweight scene. Minotaur, Copperhead and Riptide were all serious Giant Nut contenders in the main season, and now Shreddit Bro is in the tournament of champions! Not to mention how Manta won Robogames this year. The other teams gotta start refining their Anti-drum strats.

I can see Minotaur struggle if team Shreddit Bro dials in that bot 100% and adds some more speed. Nimble opponents are a big weakness for Minotaur.
@@lunamelody2025 I think SHREDDIT BRO still needs some big improvements before it can take Minotaur. They're relatively similar in design but the driving is definitely in favor of Minotaur here

Yep. Battlebots started on the Comedy Channel. There's always been a funny aspect to robot fighting because of the crazy situations the bots find themselves in.

Minotaur and Shreddit bro are kind of like brothers, in a way that when shreddit bro attacked switchback, it kinda felt like how minotaur attacked Blacksmith, because both bots we're heavly damaged. Minotaur also made the Blacksmith fly after it took a shot from removing blacksmith's wedge, just like how when shreddit bro damaged and destroyed switchback's wedge, the bot also flew after a shot from SB(shreddit bro). 6:15
It would be pretty interesting to see Minotaur and Shreddit bro fight each other in one of the battlebots episodes, because of some of their similarities. Unless SB would get some issues with driving.

Amazing that a semifinal levels competitor would have only ONE easily broken weapon drive belt. What a rookie mistake! When it comes to drive and weapons, redundant belts are absolutely necessary. And use drive CHAIN, not drive BELTS. I'd spec quad roller chains with at least a 15,000 PSI tension rating.
