    Very interesting hike in an area that resembles our Kitzbühel Alps, especially in the upper part.

    I’m heading here on Saturday hopefully. Really want to do a ridge but I have no head for heights so will steer clear of sharp edge, but my research is swaying me towards giving hallsfell ridge a go. 😱😱😱.

    One of my favourite summits, yet I have never been up Halls Fell, as I always go up from the White Horse Inn, I suppose you stick to what you know but this did look a belter of a way up. Loved the snow on the summit and reminded my of my first assent of Blencathra about 15 years ago with a group of friends from work. Red hot May day, yet we had a snowball fight at the top lol! Well deserved kiss at the top and good to see you had clear views, especially on the way down, last time I was there I took my grandson up and you could not see a bloody thing lol. Great (full) watch and well deserved Like! Cheers Alan

      Snowball fight in May!? Brilliant, have to love how the mountains can do that. It was a wet and windy climb, we would like to do Sharp edge one day too. Swing and roundabout with the views, you win some you lose some. Thanks for the watch and comment, have a fab Crimbo! All the very best Ceri and Kat 🎅👍❤☕❤☕

    Not seen a video of walks up Blencathra apart from scary Sharp Edge ones. Thanks to your video I’ll give that one a go next time I’m up there. 🙂

      Tea In Valhalla I’m off to the Lakes in November, so weather permitting Blencathra is on my to do list. Wish I lived closer as I’d be there all the time

    Ohh looks like quite a scramble! It’s weird seeing Ceri without hair! 😜

    • @TeaInValhalla
      @TeaInValhalla  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's a food starter scramble tbh, no major pinicles or climbing, and a nice side path for if and when the weather comes in strong and nasty. Sharpe edge is the more nutritious up to Blencathra 👍❤☕ hahah yes the old peanut head was go to style for ease and speed, streamlining for wind lol

    Blencathra is my favourite English mountain, never seen this ascent before! Usually do Sharp Edge from the free parking at and opposite the white horse on the A66. Again, another possibility for this weekend. Great video guys ♥️

    I went down this today, sticking to all the pointy bits because I clearly have mental issues.
