@@Robobongo88how do you determine what that is without a market place of ideas? Just state your own ideas to counter them. Don't go on character attacks.
As is the case with everything, it comes down to money, power, and pride. Money is obviously always an influence but the power of suppression of our history is greater than any monetary value. Imagine how different the modern world would be if it was common knowledge that our ancient ancestors may have been more advanced, albeit in a very different way, than we are today, and that we could actually learn a great deal from how the ancients lived their lives. Then you add in the pride factor. No one wants to be told their wrong. 'Scientists' would rather die than admit they were wrong, despite the scientific method quite literally being the method of which they would be proven wrong. Scientists/archeologists/any other 'ologist, are some of the most close minded people on this planet. Their funding depends on them towing the line. Veer too far off the government approved line of thinking and you are ostracized.
Imagine you are a professor, your pay depends on your student surveys at the end of each semester. You say "A + B = C" and your students say "Hey, isn't there another opinion and evidence to support "B & C being fractions of A?" then you have to stop your indoctrination for argument. Inconveinance was not in your contract, so dismiss and threaten.

Until Hancock, I had no idea the number of societies with flood myths was so large. I don’t even think I knew there was more than one. If not for anything else, he’s challenged my own set of what I believed to be true.
Really, need a big wheel of commonality that breaks down into a tree to show all the people sharing and or stealing their stories from each other. That threatens organized religious stranglehold on 'truth' and cuts into their bottom line though.

About 15 years ago, I listened to a fascinating podcast going over research by a couple archeologists and a couple of people like graham who theorized with amazing points of evidence that we did not come from Africa and spread out but that a group came from Australia reached Africa multiplied and then spread out across the world. Not only did they get ridiculed by other archaeologists, scientists, etc but they had to deal with being called racists. Very few shows would even put them on a podcast for fear of being labeled like them for even listening. They were canceled before they even became well known although a few interviews and podcasts did get through in the beginning. The last words I remember them telling 1 particular audience was that in 25 -50 years the world will rediscover what evidence they found and improve upon it and be brave enough to tell it and the beginning of human history will have a brand new tale to be told

Graham has excellent curious questions! It doesn’t line up and we should be digging 1 million years down. I appreciate “advanced civilizations” in context is the progress before a loss rather than ancient aliens angle. Maybe, but seeing human ingenuity is the same at each generation. Give an Egyptian an iPhone and I think they would be just like us. Our minds are similar today.
Question all and the truth will be more amazing than today’s stubborn unproven theories.
If they study these places they may descover things that are inconvenient

Graham is just so ridiculously hypocritical, big archeology supposedly keeping him down, Flint Dibble just wants to be famous, and yet here he is with massive media exposure making far more money than any archeologist with a hypothesis that has no real evidence to support it. You can ask questions, challenge accepted orthodoxy, but you need to support it and all Graham does is speculate

Seems like more and more the dates are getting pushed back or something is found that can’t be explained by mainstream archeology. He has every right to keep demanding certain things be looked at and at least entertain his theory that doesn’t seem like it’s going to be disproven anytime soon

Its not about the idea Hancock has but the way he pushes his views and presents them as the only real logical thing. His "documentary" has been called fiction for a reason when there is no proof for his ideas other than his own hearsay. Which still might be interesting to do research on, at least for some parts of it. He should just stop pushing is ideas without including convicing evidence and having reputable sources or even telling lies about certain things or framing them so they look to be the way it fits his narritive.
