1:44:02 Actually, most of the members have martial arts experience. S.Coups did taekwondo for 7 years and has a black belt, and also has started learning Jiu Jitsu. Jun did wushu and kung fu as a child. Hoshi is a fourth degree taekwondo black belt. Wonwoo has a black belt in hapkido. The8 did wushu and kung fu as a kid.Mingyu has a red belt in taekwondo. DK has a black belt in taekwondo. Seungkwan did taekwondo for three years. Vernon has done taekwondo and muay thai. Dino has a black belt in taekwondo. 10/13 members have done martial arts, and the ones that didn't, Jeonghan, Joshua, and Woozi, would be scary in a fight even without it lol

One thing about woozi tho is that he can write lyrics. Especially when it comes to the sentimental songs, my man is always in his feelings. Whenever the members are going through hard time, woozi literally writes songs for them. And when you read the lyrics it really makes you tear up. Wonwoo mother passed away, and woozi wrote circle for him. Astro member moonbin passed away and he was close to seventeen especially Seungkwan. Seungkwan went on hiatus and woozi wrote yawn for him. The lyrics are so powerful, I cried so much. There’s so many songs; don’t listen in secret, hug, pinwheel, what kind of future, headliner. Honestly the list goes on. I really can’t wait to see you guys unravel Seventeen. They’re idols not because of fame but because they have a passion. You can see it through their music. They are in their 8th year and they act like rookies giving their 100%. They’re really one of a kind which you won’t find in many groups. This is coming from someone who has been listening to Kpop since 2014.

one thing about seventeen, they are a group of ALL-ROUNDERS, no matter their specialties and units, they can each do everything, being great dancers, rappers & vocalists and that’s very rare, what’s also rare is for them to be this multitalented AND kind, HILARIOUS (they are called the theatre kids of kpop, truly the funniest idols out there) and also so very close to each other, you’d expect there to be bad blood between at least some of them bc they’re such a big group but they’ve known each other for over 10 years now, and seen each other at their worst, they’ve been through the highest highs and lowest lows, grief and losses too☹️but they love each other so much and they show this time and time again, truly no one loves seventeen more than seventeen, they’re a big old family!! And what’s cute is that their families are also close to each other😭

just want to clarify: svt are under pledis, hybe became the largest shareholder of pledis in 2020, but they still operate as an independent company, although pledis & their artists have access to hybe resources and hybe has financial influence over pledis. so yeah, bts and svt are kind of under the same company but kind of not, and it's also a more recent development relative to both groups' long careers, although some bts and svt members have been friends for years before the company acquisition. svt's direct labelmates under pledis are fromis_9 and soon to be new boygroup TWS (they make their debut on the 22nd, they're the first boy group pledis is debuting since svt 9 years ago so there's a lot of anticipation). former pledis groups include afterschool, orange caramel, nu'est, and pristin! all great artists pledis really knows how to pick them

Woozi originally was enrolled by his parents in a school where he was supposed to be learning english. But his teacher there, also taught him to play different kinds of instruments. He said it himself in caratland, he can mostly play any musical instruments even those instruments we don't normally know.

Suga started a show on youtube last year called Suchwita were he talks with guests while they drink and eat together. Hoshi and Woozi as well as the BTS members have appeared on it.

Jungkook, DK, The8 and Mingyu have been friends a long time and shared a friends chat with each other and their other friends born in 1997.

As someone who knows Seventeen for years and as a true Carat even i know everything about them i still watched this video till the end. Over 3 hours, wow time is really going so fast when you enjoy it. I really like your reaction, you definitely have new sub over here. I'm so proud and a little bit emotional when i watch videos like this. More people should know about this extremely talented group! They deserve all attention and hype.
For me personally Seventeen is not just ordinary group like others, for me they are much more. My life becomes more happier because of them. They are family! You are probably already seen in this video how connected they are and love each other. Even though you don't know much about them, you can feel like they are a real family.
Seventeen is probably the best kpop group i discovered so far. All 13 of them are:
ALL ROUNDED
- vocal king with one of the best vocal lines in kpop
- synchronization king with extremely hard and satisfying choreography
- rap unit is so iconic totally different from all other raps idol
- producers did i really have to say something about this, when someone say self protections group first thing that come in my mind is them
- stege present is amazing, they always give more 100% when they perform
- comedy king they are insane hilarious if you have bad day watch them, your day will become better
- perfect discography with no song to skip every single song is masterpiece
The can make you laugh to tears and they can also make you so emotional.
If you two want to know more about them i recommend GOING SEVENTEEN because everyone who wants to know them should watch that. It's so hard choose a favorite episode because i love all, but i can recommend you to watch TTT episodes or DON'T LIE when they playing MAFIA GAME. You already watched some scenes of that episodes on this video, it's so funny. Also recommended you to watch they live performance from concert. I'm so proud of myself that i was on they concert one time. Best time in my life. I don't regret the money i gave that, i will give even more because they concert worth more. Also you can react to they solo stuff because every solo song is such a masterpiece.

since it’s Seungkwan’s birthday, I have to mention that the song Woozi composes around the 2:09:00 mark is something he made out of the blue for Seungkwan’s birthday a couple years ago. this dude is soooo talented fr.
Edit: now that I’ve finished the vid, here’s a sampling of songs I’d recommend to capture SVT in a nutshell:
1. Pretty U (SVT owns fresh cute concepts and this is one of the best)
2. Aju Nice (this is the song that made them huge, it’s so cute and fun and energetic)
3. Don’t Wanna Cry (this EDM and dance focus song really blew them up, I remember where I was when it first came out back in 2017)
4. Fear (SVT can do dark concepts too, and this song is musically fascinating)
5. Left and Right (the boppiest of bops, you can’t help but want to stand up and dance because it’s so fun)

Dino is one of God's bravest warrior for surviving his hyungs' antics and teasings
and one fact that made me love them more is how they treat each other as family. Seventeen also shares their parents, so you can say one member have 13 set of parents. they also call each others parents as mom/mother and dad/father.
6 years old carat here! my biases are hoshi and mingyu since the very begining 😊 im proud bcs i have never change my biases bcs you guys have to know that it's really hard to stay loyal to your bias in carat land 😂
Hey! Really great reaction. I love seeing how energetic you guys are about our boys. Here’s some info: I would say Seventeen is close with a lot of K-pop groups, but they’re mainly close to Monsta X and Astro. Seventeen recently became a lot closer with some BTS members because of Jungkook and Mingyu’s friendship since they’ve been friends for a LOONNNGGG time (although it recently erupted on social media more). Jungkook and Mingyu are literally like best friends so Jungkook often hangs out with other Seventeen members as well! Yoongi and Woozi aren’t close but I would day they’re good friends by now but I think we’ll see a lot more BTS x SVT in the future! Hoshi and Yoongi also know each other/are friends. Also, when S.Coups and Jungkook were doing that whole wrestling match, Seventeen was not yet under HYBE! Pledis is it’s own company and just recently got acquired into HYBE around 2019/2020. Pledis is not a company from Hybe originally and it still acts as it’s own company. Hybe basically just promotes them and gives them entry access to the building (well and of course they have their practice room there now too!)

I just found your channel yesterday and watched all your killing voice reactions and was so sad to see no seventeen guide... So excited to see one here today!!!! I highly recommend you check out a performance of 'Don't Listen in Secret' it is one of the vocal units songs and to this day is in my favourite top-5 ballads in all of k-pop. It is truly stunning and DK just blows me away in it every time. As for Going Seventeen (GoSe) episodes to check out, their 'don't lie' series within GoSe is great! I particularly love Don't Lie #1 & #2 as well as Don't Lie: The Chaser #1 & #2! I also adore the mousebusters game and escape singing room too.

It's funny that you thought woozi was in the performance unit cause the company actually had a hard time choosing for him, even asked for his preference but in the I think mainly cause his producer role he was put in vocal. If you want to listen to woozi solos I would recommend ruby (his only official mv) and what kind of future which is an unreleased but legendary. Additionally he sometimes works with other members in their solos. Like dino wait, hoshi spider and tiger and minghaos Hai cheng. It really cool when you can hear his vocals in the back. He's done a coupel songs for other people too. I actually really recommend the suchwita episode with him.

woozi can do many instrument apart of guitar, piano, clarinet, drum. this is the only thing he showed us, but he can do more instrument, even the one we don't know... and woozi was actually at performance team before ((include vernon)), but they changed them.. Hoshi also was once in vocal team but changed to performance, this is all before debut, so back then not fixed yet
some going seventeen episodes that I really like are:

Watching seventeen's dance practice is a MUST!!! You'll be mind blowing! Watching dance practice after the MVs is awesome too
that wrestling thing was from a show back then, when a lot of the 3rd gen groups would do variety shows together, fun fact- a lot of bts and svt members are close, in particular the 97 line - mingyu from svt and jungkook from bts are best friends!! armycarat life is the best knowing that all my favs are close😌

I love Seventeen so much, they changed my view on kpop and music in general. Dk's voice is otherworldly and he has the most pure and loveable soul.
For going seventeen, I recommend “Best friend” episode. For MV, I don’t even know. They’re all so good. You can pick whatever you feel like watching and it’ll be just good.😅

For going seventeen recommendations…as in some of my personal favorites that you don’t have to watch a previous series to understand would be the:
Dont lie series-mafia game with multiple seasons…pure chaos and betrayal
Best friend series-basically them playing alot of games you would play in a school setting but with usual chaos
Adlib talent show-it’s basically a crackheaded version of a talent show and they can’t laugh or they will be shocked😂
Their TTTs: there’s a camping version, water sports version, and hyperealism(drunk version😂) all are great
The tag:haunted house escape room
Winter in August: there are sectioned rooms with different hard games. They can leave the room until they beat a certain amount of levels. The catch is the room is super hot and they have to where Santa costume as they do it
Rice planting: they have to continue planting rice until 10 mins are up. Every 10 min, they play mini games to see who can escape to eat. It’s funny because those who escape tend to tease those who have to continue work.

You might be surprised if you learn Seventeen’s circle. AFAIK they are known as one of friendliest groups. Many of the members are social butterflies and been friends with so many people in the industry and also other groups too. They are great people.

1:59:00 Dino haves one of the best if not the best body control in kpop :) if u interested in more of his dancing videos i rlly recommend his Thin white lies danceology, Hollywood is bleeding and cheating on you (he makes every choreo for his danceology) also his solo mixtape Wait (his dance and vocals go crazy)
2:01:00 i rlly recommend that ep is so fun (also picheolin is an alter ego Dino made in caratland 2021 if im not wrong :) it appeared in multiple other things ever since such as the ep in the guide "Wonwoo's diary" in "God a light music"-another going seventeen ep and recently in BSS Golden disk award performance 😭😂but yeah Picheolin is the goat)

Mingyu is apart of the 97 liners groupchat along with Jungkook of Bts, Jaehyun of Nct, Eunwoo of Astro, BamBam and Yugyeom of Got7.. I forgot who else, but this is who I remember being in it. Since you're stunned to see Bts members here, I should tell you that Mingyu is really close with Jungkook. They have done dance challenges to each others songs together, went on Weverse Live, and hang out with the other members of the groupchat. Woozi has always been said to look like Suga, so when he went on Suga's show, it was a dream for fans to see them interact with each other. When Seventeen debuted in 2015, Bts were their seniors since they debuted in 2013, so they helped give them advice and courage on how to move forward as a group and family. Before Bts was mainstream superstars, they were regular idols like anyone else. Nowadays people act like they're so perfect, but they never fail to mention how they're human too. They don't like being put on a pedestal above everyone else, so they're always humble to others as if their fame isn't the most important thing to them.
Also, when S.coups was fighting Jungkook, that was 2015 or 2016, so before Bts were huge. Kpop idols always do variety shows and gameshows together, even having their own kpop "Olympics" event. They do track, archery, wrestling (or whatever that was they were doing), bowling, etc. It's not uncommon for idols to do so, and it can actually help them gain attention if they're really good at certain sports.
And when you mentioned how Bts and Seventeen are both under Hybe so it makes sense for them to interact with each other, you brought up S.coups and Jungkooks fight, but that was before Hybe was a thing. Back then, Bts was under just BigHit Entertainment. They obviously expanded over the years due to their mega success, so that's how Seventeen is with them now. They are still signed with Pledis Entertainment and Bts with BigHit, only both companies are under one larger company now which is Hybe.
This is going to be a long comment so I’m sorry in advance, pls read tho ㅠㅠ First off, I just finished watching all four of your seventeen reactions today and I just had to subscribe because I love you guys’ personalities and I love how you don’t want to miss a single detail about our boys ❤ I’ve been a Carat for a while now and I’m so excited to welcome new Carats into the fandom, it’s always such an amazing experience for me! I promise you’re going to love everything these boys do, they helped me so much with my mental health and emotional health. They’re funny, talented, humble, loving, caring, and even though there are thirteen of them, they always make sure every single one of them does something or feels included in everything. They aren’t just a group, they’re a family that has been together for almost over 10 years now 😭 There are a lot of inside jokes in this fandom, like how even tho Dino is the real maknae(youngest of the group), he’s teased so much that new Carats usually think Jun is the maknae instead (even though he is in the hyung line [hyung means older brother, related or not, in Korean]) because Jun is treated like the baby. Even though there are a lot of Going Seventeen episodes, personally I think it’s best to start at the earliest years and then keep going to the latest ones. That way you can understand and adapt to the way the show works. Also one last note, I’m unable to have Patreon so I’m totally fine if you want to post the majority of your extra seventeen reactions there, but maybe pls have some in TH-cam for the poor people like me pls 😭😭 Thank you for the hard work and loving seventeen with me, fighting!! 🫰

So first of all every going seventeen episode is just amazing and super fun to watch if you’re bored or you have a bad day but probably the most popular and also one of my favorites are the mafia episodes where they play the mafia game they have different episodes from different years but also a three part mafia where concept is different and I enjoy these so much so I recommend those
Going Seventeen has a couple reoccuring episodes, their mafia series "dont lie", debat night, and insomnia zero, which were all fetured in the guide at one point or another.

When watching Gose, its all fun, games and about screen time so when stuff happens or is said dont take them seriously. There is a saying in caratland" you don't need to understand everything Seventeen does".
For going seventeen(Gose) i recommend the bestfriends, Gose vernon paddy, mafia/dont lie series,boos past life, cash stoke episodes but all episodes are good though.

As i was watching thjs i got like 7 Weverse notifications that Seungkwan was posting/replying😂.

Are you two really into dance? You seemed so excited about the performance team (me too) It's hard NOT to notice Hoshi. Dino is my bias but many carats have a bias line. Dino has been dancing since a little guy and you can even find videos of him on YT. Both his parents are dancers and his dad runs a dance academy. His Danceology is amazing! Woozie has my respect. He's humble about his talents too. This guide didn't mention Bumzu, He was the guys' voice teacher and also their producer. He's involved in their music and calls in others as needed.
