I have had problems on my last two kegs and i was pulling the handle fully down so i looked up the nozzle and noticed the rubber tube was stuck on the bend so i just got a skewer tip and help it round without damaging it sorted
Had my sub torp a weekend now.. already realised the 2 ltr bottles are too small. Finished 2 off over weekend.. May have to go perfect draft..if I can sneak it in without wife knowing..😅
Bang on with this Simon. I too was disappointed with the metallic aftertaste, which ruined an otherwise refreshing lager - I was hoping it was just my keg but it obviously wasn’t. I found the regular Becks a better beer than this.
I had this metallic taste on a keg of Lowenbrau. Couldn't understand why people raved about it. Was gifted a 2nd one and it was excellent, no metallic taste like previous. Beck's gold is a no nonsense sesh lager. In my top 10.
I checked the instructions book. It shows that the pump should be attached to the keg first before adding the beer line. I think doing it how the instructions show allows less gas to escape. Ps. Thanks for making the videos and keep going :)
Thanks!
Gets me every time, incredible! Thank you so much.
Well played.
Got to be time for a haircut Simon, starting to look like a young Homer Simpson from the 70’s 🍺
I like he’s har
I like his hair too, for some reason people get a kick out of doggin on his hair style
Keep the hair Simon. Also would love more perfect draft reviews. I trust your judgment my good man.
Homer Simpson in the 70’s looked cool I don’t understand? 😂
If anybody has a problem with getting the tube through, the nozzle does come off which helps, cheers.

Commenting for the algorithm. And to bitterly complain yet again about the lack of availability of the Perfect Draft in America.
Frank from Bklyn NY is there a machine for Guness keg

Yeah the Becks original is surprisingly very good, much better than the UK bottled stuff. And it’s the cheapest keg on the PD!
Got a keg of this in the fridge as well as a Midway Session

Do these machines tell you how much beer is left in the keg?
Yep, there is a gauge on the front of the machine.
@@realaleguide can you adjust the temperature? 3 degrees seems a bit cold... kills the wondeful flavors of the malt and hops

I find it’s easier to get the line in when you pull the handle down while inserting it. Also stops any kinks in the line. Great review Simon 👍
It’s not carbonated because that isn’t a proper nucleated lager glass so you won’t get the bubbles
I find Stella pint glasses brilliant for this purpose, not the best glasses but cheap and nice to drink our of 👌
