I learned every word to this song when I was a girl. His songs always grabbed my heart. He knows how to put music to the hearts poetry.
I was just an12 year old girl living in Florala Alabama. Kris was to sing at a church one Wednesday night at a small church service a mile across the Florida state line. My mom wanted to go here him sing but she had to go work a sewing factory on first thing the next morning. I always went anywhere ahe went. But we didn't get to.....I've loved him over the years....he is 83 now
