I feel like Fighting Spirit of a Warrior *_SHOULD_* work on Champion because that's a Demi-God item, and it counts its blocks/parries as getting hit, even though you don't take damage (same applies to the new spear item)

Okay, hear me out, two video ideas. 1: Drugs only. You can get gold acquisition items and pillars and anything that isn't an item, but you can only buy drugs in shops.
2: King's Chest items. Get ALL the treasure items, and all three of the Modified Treasure items.

Took treasure with collection desire per your recommendation and I've never seen such a janky blown out damage stat on someone that wasn't king. With the courage 4 proc my Clown was over 2k damage ...it was glorious.
Greed is unironically a top tier build now. Before it was a bit of a meme, but now... true power. All will fall before the heavy fist of Midas!

Hey Beelz, all effects that stay if you are hit do something that does not especificaly say that you have to lose life activate on parry and immune faces, so Warrior and the Ascetic do activate those effects
It's a big fat reminder of how the Mirage effect from.... Heritage? It might be Heirloom.... the immune to 1 hit Mirage effect. It reminds me how that gets consumed whenever you try to parry an attack. Anything that connects counts as a trigger.
Champion is so cool! Also thinking about it I forgot to consider that you take more damage on higher difficulties making root way less worth then again if you have a lot of damage reduction its still good

my strognest build with champion was literally 2 kirion, thief's black hidden blade, bone of switness, hope slasher, execution axe, golden sword, the ring and i don't remember my other arms weapon, and Orc.
the final boss fight went down SO FAST that i literally got the archivement of "no damage" on the final boss
I won't complain much, because Champion is one of my favorites skulls, but just to keep the ball rolling: Day 7 of asking for a big deeps full moon slash samurai run
You can't fool me beelz, you purposely got more than enough bone fragments so that you would have enough to upgrade pike, but not upgrade pike to mess with your audience. A whole new level of purposely missing chests/things. Good job!
It's also a good way to show how ridiculously good pike is :D
I could see this being a super saiyan-themed build based on inscriptions with some kind of aura VFX. Like imagine the effects of 2 mystery +4 courage +4 wisdom + golden king's grace all happening at the same time, plus with some kind of transformation skull (arthur, champion, berserker, yaksha (don't like him though))
Yes you should totally do an ultimate final form slime run! Rig in maybe just the legendary items at the start and get the others naturally but it would be amazing to see the power of all possible offensive items on Slime at once. Go-getter? More like they all go-got!

The effect of Clone Clone/ Double Prince's Box was put on modified Treasure (adding 1 to all inscriptions). They said they would bring back the effect "in some form", not that they will bring back the items specifically.
The devs did a lot of asset reusing but in a good way. For example, if you remember the old Piercing Wind inscription - that thing was made into an item, King Arthur's legendary sword.
I also like to think piercing wind was transferred to the Wings now as well. Given the theme of the item. I just had to confirm for peeps that those masterpiece versions are proper gone. Mr Bacanudo took a peep and yeah.... they just don't exist haha.

I also find both of those skulls to be really underrated like sometimes I would forget living armor exists
Beelz hear me out. A crit build but with all the ailments crit items, the huntress legendary, magic knife, relapse, and the ailment bone at the end, to activate all the effects on it. Is prob horrible but sounds fun 😂

That slime idea was something I was thinking about. Can you do like an item damage only build. No attacks. No skill uses. Unless you count slime’s skill but it doesn’t really do damage without items( I think)
Slime offense builds exist. I've done ... at least one for TH-cam. Mostly a stream thing as they usually take a while to do. The main items you'd need are Mages Necklace and Manatech Generator. The Cudgel now, helps out. If you had some balance skulls then the Mana Bone wouldn't be too bad either.
It's kinda funny how all of the items and effects that you would want to activate during a parry don't, and the items and effects that you WOULDN'T necessarily want to activate from a parry do lol.
The story is complete, but liiiike where the dr robotic guy we see in the background of the leonia sisters fight... Hes nowhere to be found at the end of the game with the emperor, all we know is the bozo just stormed out the room when his two prides of joy got their ass kicked and evicerated from a dark beam... There are loose ends in the game even though its finished
Oh the big bald dude? He was fed to the Chimera. The head alchemist guy that you see briefly during a story playthrough who gets stepped on by the Chimera mentions it. He just, always dies after he leaves the room haha. It's why people have long asked for ''What if'' types of fights. Where instead of the sisters you fight the big bald guy. And instead of the Chimera you fight the head alchemist. Instead of fighting dad, the demon king breaks free but he's become unstable and you've gotta fight him.
Hey beelz, im struggling to get past dark mirror 8 and i often find myself struggling to make good item and inscription decisions, your recent skul tier list touched on a few builds for some skuls but id love a video going more in depth with inscription and item combos, cheers
I've been meaning to do a big Shield run showing why he's so good. I might do that soon so it can stand as an example. The most recent Ghoul video is also a good example of what you can try. Piety (dark ability) helps if you've unlocked it. Which I thiiiink you should have unlocked the rest by difficulty 8.
If you don't have piety you can still more or less follow the build and it'll work out 9/10 times. Ghoul + revenge and antique/fortress works wonders.

Champion is right under Yaksha in terms of bad legendaries. She looks cool, but she's so painfully weak and can only hit like one person at a time.
Unique Pike was killing enemies in a fraction of the time it took for champion to do so.
Idk how people like her. But, then again, I'm sure that there are people who unfortunately like gargoyle.
That's pretty much it. I like how champ feels to play. I'm ok if a skull performs slightly weaker as long as it's fun to use. Gargoyle could be S tier and I would probably still hate using it.

Replacing the Sword with Pauldrons would have been a net neutral of Courage, you'd lose one Spoils and gain one Fortress, putting them both at 2 once you get the enhanced Treasure. Overall, you'd get a little more physical damage through the 5% Pauldrons has over Sword and Collections Desire from the Fortress going to 2, and a shield every minute; it's a net gain.

Hey man im kinda new and finaly got hard mode unlocked, how do you get the bone pillars and restock to show up? The wiki seems to be lacking info
u gotta beat hard mode multiple times and each victory adds a new effect to your hard mode runs
you get the skull and item machines fairly early on but the bone pillars I wanna say are midway through ...you should have most of the really good stuff unlocked by like 7 and the last few bits are just gravy like the extra gold / bone machine and the thing that upgrades little bone
Just keep chunking away at it and you'll have it in no time.
As the others have said, you'll unlock new features as you climb the Hard Mode ladder. The first time you beat each new level going from 0-9 you'll get a new perk. This includes the bone pillars, being able to select rare skuls at the start of runs, the inscription machines, bonus resource generation and more. Beating difficulty 10 is a cosmetic unlock.
Once you've beaten a level of difficulty the unlocked perk is permanent, so you only really have to beat up to 10 once. Then you can do whatever you'd like.

Beelz I have a question. There's a debate on where Invisible Knife is actually better to take than Gunpowder on crit focus build. Altho one is Rare and the other is Unique, having Misfortune built in, and easier to find, Invisible Knife is doing more damage than Gunpowder. Idk what's your take on this one?
They're both really good. I'd grab either one if my build supported them but it also helps if they synergize with your dmg type.

If not berserker, give Balrog a run please. Slime is good to, basically skul run but you can't take damage
since you take infectious disease a lot and mention kingslayer I've been thinking: which one has priority over the other? Does infectious disease take off 30% of a boss's hp and then kingslayer kills them at 10% of 70% or does king slayer kill the boss at the same amount of hp they would normally if infectious disease wasn't applied?
Infectious disease, by having it reduced everyones hp by 30% pre-emptively. Everyone in the run is just nerfed. So if dad hypothetically had 100,000 hp normally. Kingslayer would kick in at the 10k mark. With disease he would start at 70,000 and therefore Kingslayer should activate when he's at 7k.
It serves more as an execute type of ability. Only kicking in once the threshold is met. Disease just nerfs everything by 30% to begin with.

Kinda curious the modded skuls would do in hard mode 10. Are there any besides the vampire?
Vampire, Balrog (as a skull) and Plague Doctor are the ones I'm aware of. The plague doctor doesn't really work. It just has 1 attack and a dodge. Balrog is just himself. Vampire is the only true custom made one based on files that were found in game. Seems at one point they wanted to make a Vamp skull and put it off.
Kinda surprised the slime isn't one if Balrog is. Can not wait to see if someone can figure out how to make original ones and put them into the game.
huh wait really ? are the master piece version of clone stamp and prince box actually not there anymore ? i don't read patch notes and since they are so rare i only got them once which even that one time is rare but anyway did they get removed at some point ? . . . huh kinda sad that i didn't even know they got removed at some point if the info is correct which probably is
They got removed a while ago, as far as I know shortly after Dark Mirror released. I've asked Mr Bacanudo to do some data digging and according to him the actual files for those items no longer exist.
