You know what’s fun? Whenever I watch you play Skul, I blatantly talk to myself whenever you debate on items to take. Shit like when you beat Yiggs, I saw the same spread as you and said “I mean shit nothing great but Master Fighter has at least something.” And every time I’m pleasantly surprised to hear the exact thought process come through your head and it’s like “THATS WHAT IM SAYING MAN”

Another point against the Modified Relic is the fact that it encourages you to build Antique, as well as a bunch of other health items. When you have 500+ health, 3 health is 0.6% of of you max health at most.
I've always been of a mind that the first rank or tier-whatever you want to call it-of Relic should cause health orbs to heal a percentage of your health. Once you get really high in health, the orbs become inconsequential; at 150 hp they heal ~7%, which can go all the way down to 2% at 500 hp.

They really need to bring down the prohibited books upgrade requirements to be more in line with Kirion honestly. 500 is so damn much to hit and not all skulls are good at grinding that up. The book should be the magical equivalent of Kirion now that I think about it, maybe just a slightly higher amount of kills needed like 250-300 instead of 500 skills used on dudes.

Funnily enough, I did had the run with Bomber Kaboom. The stars aligned to give me otherwordly luck, for not only did I get Kaboom bomber, I got every essential Magic item: Ritual Stuff, Golden Wand, Lunar Ring, Nether Mana Suppressors EVERYTHING! 4 Wisdom and 4 Arson run! And guess what? I blew it, because I got greedy and kept gambling in the shop instead of buying food. What did we learn kids? Don't do gambling

i still think you should to make a vid about the campfire stuff, mainly cuz of the cursed options... i know the video itself would be like 5 minutes tops but you know... that way we get to see all of them instead of 2 at a time.

cozines actually insane with new shield item (forgot the name) from King Arthur, skulls with a lot of skills to spam just gets constant 75% cdr and 30% crit rate. also shield skull benefits alot from that dark ability(tbh he's just op skull in legendary form. ez 3k phys attack with great defences)

@1:09:00 If mana tech would work like it does on mage for Living Armor that would be a decent buff, he would be less reliant on swapping to build meter and can become the spammy boi he was meant to be.

+80 HP and 20% amp/damage reduction is still crazy on an item imo
Also the earthquakes are gonna add a bit of damage too since you get a free 100% physical from it.

We did upgraded Oberon in one of the King Arthur runs. I haven't shown the omen version yet though.

I just did an experiment if you are interested in this.
When I saw you using the Silphid Wings at the start I got curious. Soar is just so odd. I couldn't believe that they put in a whole inscription that is only usefull for 1 skull. An absolute D tier skull at that. I felt like this should be useable on other magic bois.
So I did a test run with Archlich and Gambler. Two skulls that I feel like are able to throw out spells while being midair.
Archlich already really struggled because he need big enemies to even hit midair. Gambler did better.
But this is where the issues arise.
Number 1: How do these damage increases even work? Do you have to cast midair and the spell gets it even if you are on the ground again? Or do you cast it on the ground and have to be midair while it triggers? From my test I felt like its the first one, cast it midair and then do whatever.
Number 2: You gotta do a lot of stuff in the air. Use your skills, but also double dash for Silphid Wings. It gets hectic and messy really fast.
Number 3: You are basically playing in a new spacial dimension. I thought I would be safer in the air but I got hit by SO many attacks that didn't touch me in ages, just because I wasn't used to being midair while dodging.
Number 4: The damage is...meh. I rigged in everything useful from the start, Wings, Rosary and so on. Still the damage increase midair was barely noticeable and I'm not even gonna start comparing it to wisdom man...
It feels like the devs had a very cool idea for this inscription but just couldnt really make it work. They just kept it in because they really liked the idea.
It feels like a forgotten inscription in many ways. There is no omen items for soar. There are no dark abilites or curses that interact with it.
Even piety and beastblood exist, which is prove enough that they were not hesitant in creating dark abilites for very VERY niche uses.
In my opinion this inscription needs an entire revamp or just cut it out and replace it with a shock status effect or something.
