Hotfix #20 made second wind recoverable with a grey campfire when self-placed, making it easier than ever to rat around and get money in HR Crypts solo.
In this video I will give you tips and tricks on how to deal with other players and control rooms in Inferno crypts.

Would love more of this! That 1v3 was so fun to watch, especially since you weren't in insane gear, it feels like something I could pull off if I grinded a bunch of fighter and got a lil' lucky

Would love to see a longer format video with full games as well, as a new player it’d be great to see how you move around the dungeon with live commentary. There’s plenty videos like that true, but rarely by very skilled players as they usually play trios.

Really good video! Really interesting fighter can clear faster but rogue can interact with doors/loot faster and get locked chests. I usually do solo runs on rogue but you make fighter look like a lot of fun! Great explaining throughout the video of what your thinking is.👍👍👍
Fighter can also take a lot more punishment, it only takes one bad play to die as a rogue
Lockpicks are quite cheap at the moment, and you find them from looting as well

@@bolenarrow9286 you also most likely make more profit with budget runs. When i go geared with my buddy we can extract 5times in a row, if we die on the 6th we are already on a loss in gold probably. Not to mention having to waste 20-30mins on trading every time.. my most hated thing about the game by far

This is a game changer. Probably one of the best DaD videos I've ever seen. I've never thought that solo crypt plate fighter was viable because we're so slow, but you take the game so methodically that you make it work. I've literally never seen someone with a play style like this. I deeply appreciate the thoughtful and informative commentary.
Personally I really hate the slayer fighter meta because it relies on stat checking and W keying and isn't that good at nightmare mobs without a shield. It feels like a one dimensional play style and you'll never stat check a 1v3 with such low PDR. Since 99% of HR is solo rogues trying to rat for gold, being a PDR fighter is great; but it always felt too slow and like you'd fold against a team. Abusing second wind to stay outside the zone feels like how old warlock used to be; but not having a shield means I can't fight nightmare mobs. I really want to go to HR inferno because it has the best loot and is the most fun; but the nightmare mobs are so fast and dangerous that it feels impossible to do on a rat class (RIP that geared rogue that died to a spear skeleton).
I learned a lot and really want to try this.

When more prepared and playing well those geared teams aren't really an issue unless they're 350 move speed buff ball chasing you through storm
against rat rogues and clerics you do really well against them, basically loot pinatas

I’ve always been cautious of HR, whether it be the rumors of hackers, the gold farmer hordes from Asia, or just general gear fear, I never saw HR worth it as a solo. Thank you for demonstrating that it’s possible to do so and giving me the courage to get out there and try 🙂
Yes it’s not that bad personally because I play on US East
I know that some other regions have it tougher than us.
If you happen to play on US East, west or maybe even EU, the games are 90% of the population is mid gear to no gear, and then there is the 10% meta comp best in slot gear.
As you can tell from my video I managed to avoid all the big teams consistently, and even if you do die to them, you’re risking very little so it’s ok to just go again.
This is such a good video! I wanna ask what do you do when you die? Do you just buy a small kit to go back in or whats the minimum gear you will have?
you can either try to do a successful goblin run and find gear +100g that way, or you can just try and buy a decent weapon + some strength/plate armor from the vendor

It is for the golden key room in High Roller Crypts, in the middle of the big circle map
There are 2 loot piles in there that you can loot for a chance at some really good items
Usually though people hold it as a replacement for gold, since it costs about 1250g for 2 slots

For trios
If sword & shield + crossbow then barricade, counter attack, defense mastery, and shield mastery.
If running longsword + crossbow then barricade, counter attack, defense mastery, swift
If running halberd + crossbow then combo attack, defense mastery, swift, adrenaline spike
I don't play dual wield plate but I would imagine dual wield, defense mastery, swift, combo attack/adrenaline spike

Can you elaborate on why you like Barricade more than Shield Mastery?
The flat 50 armor is great when you're at low gear (more value) since you're mostly focusing on survival over killing
it gives you an extra cushion if every time mobs/player is swinging/shooting at you and just having your shield up during those windows gives you 50 armor + good head/body protection, most swings will be hitting you in the toes taking very little damage.
Almost every melee fight is going to involve some sort of damage trading, especially in crypts where you might be 1v2, 1v3, you won't be able to get free hit counters off that easily and will rely on your stats to out trade opponents
However I think in 1v1 situations shield mastery is probably better if you're able to consistently block hits

Do you end up selling the keys or using them?
When I play the game normally I touch trade very minimally and just horde my keys unless I somehow lose everything and have to liquidate the keys for gold.
You can just step left to right with the berserker…. Definitely not harder then the boss like u said 😂
Issue is hes swinging like 6 times in a row and you cant dodge while hitting him. Its the only mob everyone cheeses because its too much effort to kill normally, you are gonna take damage guaranteed.
Why Barricade over Shield Mastery in Game 3?
I think shield mastery is good in 1v1 scenarios but barricade is just superior in terms of raw defensiveness that you need to win unfair fights and also tank nightmare mobs.

As and EFT player this game sounded cool cause I love fantasy, but the gameplay and fighting look sooooo slow.
It’s slow at first but the pacing and team fights even at the lower end can be very fun and intense!
Watching fighter gameplay is slow for sure due to the fact that we’re a tank class but there are other fast paced classes in the game
I used to play eft too and fights in this game gives me the same feeling as eft
make sure you grab everything, doesn't grab his necklace haha proceeds to take the moltov haha
Haha yeah the necklace would’ve sold for a couple of g, in my mind the utility from the molly was more useful than the neck at the time but I definitely had space to grab it

All these clips show me is that crossbow is OP (ranged in general) bs,
especially on a character with PDR and a huge self-heal.

As a rogue main, PDR fighter gotta be one of the most brain numbing things i’ve witnessed. The amount of nightmare axe skeleton hits you can just eat is so brain dead

Well, pdr fighter doesnt have the ability to dodge every attack and open doors in 0.3 seconds.
Fighter is actually so busted op in every single way. Heavy plate and runs at 350 move speed? What a joke. Plus access to crossbow and a self heal? Where's the fucking downside?
Generally slow, anyone can run away from you. You cant really run away if a strong team decides to chase you. I always felt plate fighter must be one of the worst classes to rat with, this guy is just a god at the game.
@@koreanzombie6697 absolutely not slow. I've been ran down as a rogue with my fists out by fighters in full plate swinging a falchion and you just can't escape. Sprint is busted.
@@longduckshlong2313 well maybe if you're close to him lol.. if you don't wanna get caught by a fighter you never get caught as a rogue. Not by a full plate fighter for sure
