Based on the severity of your disability, treating doctor will be able to guide you If you are cured/improved with the disease and if you don’t have illness now, unlikely you are eligible. On the other hand, if you continue to have illness and suffering from disability, you may be eligible. All these issues and questions can be answered by your treating doctor only

Well I don't think he would be discriminated as such if he isn't violent and mental illness is curable. Nobody can Discriminate based on mental illness. And if somebody does you people can file a case against them.
Can Police admit someone to a asylum if he is taking a treatment from another Psychiatrist, without the Patients consent just on a report from family that they want to push the person to an asylum just to get rid of him.
