Wow, this is super insightful information for me. Now I have lots of editing to do because I have lots of boring blue sky to add clouds into. Thanks soo much Nathan.

couple of questions Nathan. One, when adding clouds like done here of a copy/paste over a contiguous background why is it necessary to use .png files? Would not a .jpg work just fine too? Secondly, do you have a method to be used by PSX Pro of Free that can be used when doing a sky replacement that is not overly exciting with another cloudy sky that is more attractive. Also how about getting new clouds to appear in the open areas of trees etc.
Oh, one other thing -- when doing a collage, eg 2 images for simplicity, is there anyway to adjust the size of the image for each location in the "frame" that one might put the image? TIA

I'll see about making a video answering those questions

@@BriNathanCollins I am trying to do something now too and will let you know. Have been working on a printed manual/tutorial related to PSX Pro and will try, when done, to send you a copy of it. I don't have an interest in doing YT or other stuff but if you or other PSX creators want to add the file to their efforts it will be fine with me. I do all of this for fun as my career ended almost 22 years ago and I am quite content being retired.

    Hi Nathan!, Question
I want to take a pic of myself and superimpose a small version of myself sitting on top of a beer can.
Which tutorial best explains taking one image and imposing it inside another so it looks real.?
I'm ok with the cutting out part.
    Thanks for all you do
    WC

How about this? I’ll do that exact project and make it as a video tutorial this week.

@@BriNathanCollins Thanks man, Doing art for my album cover and want myself either leaning against a bottle or can of PBR beer LOL. Does it help if I get a pen mouse to cut out my image better?

As long as you’re patient, you can use a mouse and it’ll come out just fine.
