- Apparently some Nissan E-NV200 owners have experienced damaged ABS sensors due to rodents or foxes chewing the cables. The issue will result in brake & ABS warning lights on the dash. In this video, I just attempt to show you how simple it is to replace a sensor and cable and is something that many could do themselves rather than sending it in to the garage.

I have seen this first hand on a Prius. The lady who owned the car was convinced that vandals were targeting her by cutting her ABS cables but I could see the cable had been chewed into fox mouth sized pieces. This was in London.
It does sound like this is more of an urban issue than a rural issue!
Just had it happen to me but can't find a valid replacement part. do you know where i could get a replacement rear sensor for the e-nv200 2019?
You get them the from Nissan or Autodoc.
Is there any anti rodent kit to prevent it happening again?
Could wrap the wires in tape?
It's foxes I've done 100s of them most of them Ford and citroen and Peugeot
