hey, so i was originally going to use spotify premium for my music but now that lofi girl offers free to use music i was thinking of just getting all of my songs from them and putting it into one file. If I do this am I still able to use Last FM or pixel chat to update what song is playing on the stream in real time? or is there a way to manually input the song titles?
Thank you so much for your advice and wise words. I have just started my Lofi Channel, and I hope that I will reach my goals of earning through TH-cam. To those who are also on the same journey with me, I wish you all great success ahead. Much love.
Depends of the playlist is put on loop or if you are live playing it. If I looped a GIF rather than playing CPU intensive simulation, I coulda gotten away with the 8GB option.
Interesting. I have an old computer sitting around that I've been meaning to turn into a home server. The livestream could be another use case for a home server.
@@SuboptimalEng Could you do a video later about how many clicks and impressions your automatic livestream after 1 month? would be good to know the data to analyze how did it help your channel in some way and if was worth it
Do you explain how to stream the GitHub simulation through OBS? Can you just stream websites as an input through OBS? (yes I should just look for myself ;P )
@@Discipline_Dollars i formally used oh bubble but unfortunately they stoped accepting payment from American express, so i switched to 38$ vps from paperspace
It should be doable with any Digital Ocean alternative like Linode, AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure. Unfortunately, I've only had experience with Digital Ocean so I can't help you here.
you totally made it very difficult, it not this hard guys, you should have been more pratical instead of using sketches, check tony teaches tech for a more practical video on this

how many streams can we do at one time?
Are you available?

I’m not sure how stream FM works, but you can always manually display the song titles using something like iMovie to place the titles in!
lofi girl says they don't allow their music to used for music channels or music live streams
nice video buddy, you explained all stuff in a cool way ☻
Thanks! Live streaming is quite a rabbit hole to go into 🥲

Appreciate the comment, and good luck on your channel!
I can't run obs on DigitalOcean vps, it said failed to load it. Did you face with this problem ? I end up using ffmpeg.
really enjoyed watching this video, thanks for making it
Thanks Raz!
Great video. That simulation is awesome
If only I could’ve played (or coded) the music, then it woulda truly been built from scratch 🥲
@@SuboptimalEng maybe in next dev vlog
12:00 you could just use rsync to send the file? assuming you have ssh access to your droplet
Doing great brother, keep it up
Would the 16GB option be viable for streaming a video playlist on OBS via VLC?
Depends of the playlist is put on loop or if you are live playing it.

Excellent Vid ! Thanks
Space-Node is preconfigured and better.
Spotify have conflict with Ubuntu, after 24 hours sound crashed
So do you stream even though your PC is off or you never shutdown your PC ???
Thanks for the help, i'm using this.
Nice vid. At 11:08, try VNC instead of rdp. At:12:51, wondering why scp can't be used instead of wormhole?
or just use rsync

Saw your channel and noticed you got some experience making beats. Could be interesting!
@@SuboptimalEng It has been a while since then! It's something that I've wanted to get back into, but it's not on my list of priorities :/
@@BayanBennett check out the pinned comment. It can be done even more cost effectively!
so ... my question is... wouldn't it be much cheaper if i have an old laptop around and use it for 24/7 live stream?
do you have to keep your system on all time for 24/7 steams
Ubuntu RD is slow AF, what can you do to speed it up.. HELP!!! its so slooooow it hurts 😩
Great video .how much video you can run with that specifications?

Hi, thanks for share this video. My question; Can I make 7/24 livestream on youtube without obs software?
Yea, I believe there is an FFmpeg command that can stream a video to an endpoint on loop.
Great Video! i was thiking about it days ago, didnt know that would be so expensive
Me neither, I can’t even in run it live for more than a month 😂

@@sylviotv Yea I'll probably do something like that!

(yes I should just look for myself ;P )
I open the website on chrome in the digital ocean droplet, but yes, you should look for a more optimal solution 😂
do you work for digital ocean? i would just buy a cheap laptop and run obs 24/7.
No, I don’t work for digital ocean 🌊
Thank you for making this video, it was very helpful and thanks to you guys i have a 24/7 stream ☁️
That’s great to hear!
Just checked out your stream and it’s got some good music 🎶
Which pricing option did you go with?

@@Hisui_lofi Thank you
How much do you with TH-cam per months with streaming ?
I wonder how can you ise the raspberry pi here
Thanks for a good idea.
Can you use streamlabs instead of obs
How much did it cost for the whole setup with digital ocean
Hello Nice video
Can this be done with LINODE with their compute service?
If so can you make a tut

Dude that's cool gonna try it out., BTW love your vid.
can you turn computer off
As long as you turn it back on
how do you loop the music to keep playing 24/7 for months?
I believe you can create a video loop in OBS.
great video software developer myself (AWS) going to give this a shot.
Can you post a link to your livestream so I can check it out??
I turned off the live stream after about 2 weeks.
Why!?!?! Too expensive and not enough views ?
Yes I want to stream 24/7
Dude i am so lost, I didn't know live streaming could be such a headache
How to livestream 24/7 without obs any software 😊
Hey! Do you know if it is still possible to monetize YT channel and avoid copyright issues if I pay for Spotify premium and use music there?
