James always seems on top of his brief, into the detail of coffee beans and the choices there, drilling down to the key factors (costs, operations, accounting ) to assess the model
I’ve watched a lot of your videos but this is by far my favourite. It’s rare to see this sort of real online. I’m 23 and have two business my newest business took me a year to get open and over the line. Just like you said I’m going again and thinking about the next one. Love the videos mate glad I found your channel over the last week. Cheers.
Tell you something with crazy golf, the less complicated the setup the better it is. Some of the crazy golf abroad on a old tennis court which is made from someone fabricating a bunch loops, a windmill etc are better than the upmarket ones like JURASSIC GOLF
I like the guy who said he liked starbucks. He gave an important nugget of wisdom for any business owner. Consistency beats inconsistent quality. I much rather get a consistendly decent meal at a restaurant compared to a great meal this week, a decent one next week and a bad one two weeks after that but a great one inbetween.
Hi @JamesSinclairEntrepreneur I’m interested to know how you get on with the roasting business. There are over 500 independent roasters in the U.K. I’d be fascinated to know how you plan your marketing strategy to tackle that level of competition. Having your own outlets definitely will take the sting out of it, but in your video, you allude to needed to double up on your internal sales with external sales. It seems to be challenging to me. BTW, I work a coffee (hardware) business myself.
That’s very kind of you! Thanks for watching- check out my podcast Here’s the link Https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/james-sinclairs-business-broadcast-podcast/id1495894637
I think the arabica, robust debate is from people who don't know coffee. The reason arabica is now big is due to marketing. There are amazing robusta coffees and before the 2000s most coffees were a combination and the taste is better than single origin coffees.

Costa doesn't have coffee in their coffee. 99% old milk.

James, you’re the next Warren Buffet haha. All very impressive!
Buffet never ran a business. His company invested in companies like James'.
I want to know where James gets his printing done 😂
What’s the machine the chap using to seal the coffee pouches anyone know

good 1 job
That's not going to happen before the summer holidays.
Not a chance.
Has to be related to Chillijoncarne.
Who?
buoy you are so wrong about coffee, robusta vs arabica maybe you learn something about it before you do a stream
Arabica is sooo much better IMO. You prefer robusta?

Robusta is strong and coarser than Arabica.
Did you say you print in house?
😂
This man is one refused loan away from bankruptcy
@james pm me
If this man defines good coffee as being Starbucks or Costa- he needs to get better educated in coffee culture.🫣
