    Dr. John is simply bringing out a message to the world; Eating fast food is bad for you. If someone dies there, it's the customer's fault. The restaurant has warning labels everywhere and Dr. John has made it very clear that the restaurant is dangerous. If the heart attack grill didn't exist, those people would have died in some other place like McDonalds or something.

    The restaurant should not be shut down. We all seem to forget that WE are the consumers. WE have the power choose where and how we spend our money. If you're dangerously overweight, and choose to eat at The Heart Attack Grill, you're doing it at your own risk. Any doctor or dietician will tell you eating there multiple times a week is going to end your life.
    It's not Heart attack Grills, or any other fast food restaurants responsibility to tell you what you should / shouldn't eat. That's YOUR responsibility. People seriously need to stop blaming everyone for their problems, and educate themselves. If you choose not to educate yourself on the dangers of eating excessive amounts of greasy foods, then don't blame others for the damage you cause to your body.

    I have more respect for that guy than those who make trouble for him. Because at least he's truthful. He's purposely saying that this food is bad for you, so stay away. So anyone with common sense knows that everyone who eats there is aware of the risks and he is relieved of any liabilities that was caused by the food.
    Anyone who tries to hold fast food restaurants responsible for the cause of their heart attacks or sudden on going illness is, in my opinion, extremely incompetent for trying to find excuses to blame somebody.
    Because no one forced you to go, no one forced the food down your throat, and you could've ordered a salad and water but you chose not to. You can't just walk into a fast food joint and sue a fast food restaurant because you got a heart attack from from eating food that everyone knows was bad for you to begin with, you just can't. Doing so is kind of a waste of everyone's time
    The only way you might have a chance of winning a lawsuit case against the fast food joint is if there was an injury that happened there that had nothing to do with them serving you fatty food.
    Like say you slipped from a slippery floor and gotten injured because of it, or they accidentally served you food that was improperly handled (Undercooked, served you food that was slightly spoiled, etc.), or a legitimate reason such as that, THEN you might be able to have good enough reason to sue.
    Otherwise you're just going to waste everyone's time with a lawsuit about something that wasn't their fault to begin with.

    As a retired MD, who looked after countless people during my career as a family doctor, many of whom had diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and other ailments primarily brought about by their poor lifestyle and eating habits, I applaud what "Dr. John" is doing at the heart Attack Grill. He is sending us all a message, laced with a bit of humor. If you continue the argument that his restaurant should be closed because what it is serving is bad for people, then you have to also say all the casinos in Las Vegas should be closed, because what they are promoting (gambling) is bad for people. There is an obesity epidemic in the western world, which is affecting not just adults, but kids, and it is very serious. The unfortunate deaths of some of his overweight promoters were not directly caused by the food they ate at his restaurant, but by their incredibly unhealthy lifestyles, which the restaurant is attempting to demonstrate. Good on ya, Dr. John! I am looking forward to visiting the Heart Attack Grill on my next visit to Vegas in a few weeks. I won't be ordering a Quadruple Bypass Burger however. I will stick to a regular burger and fries. Problem is, I am likely to finish this meal which means I won't get spanked by one of the "nurses" there, something I think I would enjoy.

      since you're a MD then you should know humans have an acidic stomach(animal flesh digestion ) and a gallbladder(for saturated animal fat digestion )
      Meat is species specific diet for humans...
      Tell us how it's bad for us ?
      the obesity epidemic is caused directly by consuming plant sludge all day doctors are quite responsible for this... since they push this plant sludge food pyramid diet (most doctors push the fruits and vegetables as being healthy )
      If Fruits are so healthy then why do they have so much sugar??
      if Grains (grass seeds) are so healthy then why do they have so much sugar??
      if vegetables are so healthy then why do they have so much sugar??
      Leafy greens are also toxic including broccoli
      the 1,000 and 1,000s of junk food items on the shelf they claim is "unhealthy" is made from the same exact grains, vegetables and fruits they claim is "healthy " This is a true double think (the acceptance of or mentaI capacity to accept contrary opinions or beliefs at the same time)

    Nah, it’s still despicable that people weighing over 350 pounds get to eat for free. That’s no different than our societal problems of junk food being far cheaper than healthier options. There’s a reason why there is such a strong link between poverty and obesity. I could appreciate the honesty if not for the free meals for people who are already obese.

    Yes it's morbid...I think that's the entire point of his restaurant. He wants the message "junk food is bad for you, control your diet" to become widely known. Too many people ignore it nowadays, sadly, and obesity rates are high. Granted some people don't have a choice and unhealthy food is often cheaper in their area. Fair enough. But ignoring your health, choosing to eat food like this? That's what this dude is trying to say...obesity is a real problem and this is the grim reality of it, this is what happens when you excessively eat junk food. He's not taking pleasure in it, he's being completely honest about what's happening. He *is* making money off of it, it *is* morbid, people *do* have heart attacks and health issues from this food. Companies like McDonalds will try to hide behind a pretty face. The HAG isn't lying to you about what it is or what it does. We humans are so susceptible to heart disease, and with the western world's unhealthy obsession with junk food it's only become more prevalent.

    • @theantiveganchannel3596
      @theantiveganchannel3596 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes humans get hexrt disease because of plant sludge dieting specifically because of sugar consumption (sugar damages the arteries walls "CVD") as far as i know there is NO sugar in meat ..
      What has sugar you ask ?
      Fruits = sugar ( humans don't even have the digestive system for it )
      Vegetables = sugar ( humans don't even have the digestive system for it)
      Grains = sugar ( humans don't even have the digestive system for it)
      Plant oils = toxic (since it's unnatural ) ( humans don't even have the digestive system for it )
      The 1,000 and 1,000s of junk food items on the shelf they claim is "unhealthy" is actually made from the same exact grains, vegetables and fruits.
      Those junk foods are made from the same exact wheat, fruits and vegetables products , THAT the government claims is healthy( note i did not use the word "are" because they're not healthy) see food pyramid diet...
      This is what's called a "double think"...

These customers obviously don't care about their health or their lives. What right does any organization, like that Washington Based Advocacy Group, have to tell adult human beings what they can and cannot do? It is not the responsibility of the owner to stop feeding his customers. It is the responsibility of those customers to stop eating death.

    I think that's the whole point of this restaurant, to make it painfully obvious to people what this type of food, and what these sorts of habits do, right at the place you consume them.
    If I remember correctly- this guy has owned a number of health oriented restaurants, of which he said- none of them worked.(for these specific people I'd imagine)

    • @robertjohnvanzyl4020
      @robertjohnvanzyl4020 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's really not any more unhealthy, as far as I can tell- only thing different is possibly the serving size on their burgers, which exist in that size in many other restaurants as well.
      As for the people complaining about the lard- processed vegetable oils used in deep fryers and cooking is often worse than their animal equivalents (as per Tim Noeks, paleo & Banting diets.)
