    Recently watched you guys shoot at the rifles only brawl on youtube. Keep up the good work!

    Will have to check out Lone Peak actions for my next build. I have been very happy with my Pierce rifle action, and the quality is top-drawer. But I cannot swap chamberings without a lot of hassle.

    Hello . Good morning. I enjoy your videos and info that you guys provide. I'm looking to build my first custom rifle. Ive been looking at ARC, lone peak and impact precision actions. I shoot the 6.5 CM , 260 Rem, and 270 WSM. I'm not a hunter or PRS shooter. I enjoy shooting targets at 1000 plus yards. I'm looking to build a 7Saum. I also have kind of a budget. Can you give me a little advice on what action would suit my needs . Thanks

      Both of those actions are great actions. The only real difference between the two is the impact has a trigger hanger. We’ve been using lone peaks since 2020 and we love them.

      @@longrangewiththelillys1221 ok. Thanks for your narrowing it down . What are your opinion on American rifle company ( Nucleois) . That has a lot good reviews as well. The only difference is that they offer a 3 lug bolt at 72° bolt lift. I dont know how well their tolerances are compared to impact and lone peak. It runs about $400 cheaper , not sure if that's a deal breaker. Thanks again and keep up with TH-cam trends.

      I have only played with the nucleus a couple times. I hear It’s a good action. I just prefer either the LP or the impact.

      I purchased these on Etsy, from a store called BeadMeAStory. They are 20mm orings.

    Who were you guys using before

    So I’m not sure what makes that different then any other custom action. The specs are normally always the same they only change the boltface dia. Not sure what you were shooting before that you couldn’t do that. Not saying lone peak isn’t a great action but that definitely isn’t a reason to choose them over other companies

      @longrangewiththelillys1221  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      One year ago when this video was made there were only a handful of manufacturers that would guarantee their specs within tolerance in order to run prefit barrels. The rest required a gunsmith to fit the barrels. The action we were shooting before was the Defiance Deviant.

      @@longrangewiththelillys1221 Wrong! Bighorn was one of the first ones to do it about 6 years ago. After that, all the custom actions started doing it and new actions like Lone Peak came out. Stop being dishonest, just about every custom action does everything you outlined and MORE. Terminus even has a quick change option like Accuracy International AXSRs. Lone Peak is a great action, I have a sa one, but most of the custom actions are excellent and will do the same. Can't go wrong with any of them. Enjoy your action, but cut the crap.

      Calm down turbo. Notice we said “only a handful of manufacturers” when talking about action companies that would GUARANTEE their specs. Bighorn was one of them. Nobody said lone peak pioneered this or did we disparage any other action. Nobody is being dishonest and to imply we are is disrespectful. Enjoy your free content.

      @@longrangewiththelillys1221 Stop it. You know exactly what you were saying or trying to get across. If there were a "few", meaning, the majority of them at the time, then where's the benefit or the pluses? They are not doing anything new or more than the competition, even at the time you claimed it. Not even 2 years before your claim. You were dishonest, take responsibility. At least Terminus introduced threaded trigger pins and quick change barrel. What has LP introduced that's new or ground breaking? You even need a tool to disassemble the bolt on the Lone Peak. There's 5 custom actions that are toolless bolt disassembly. I'm sure its a great action like all the ones, over the last couple years, but its doing even less than newer ones at the same time of their release.

      It was definitely not “the majority at the time” I don’t know what your problem is with either us or Lone Peak but your level of anger is irrational. But I guess that’s normal for being anonymous behind a keyboard.
