Nice looking rifle . I like the trend of rifles coming from the factory with threaded muzzles . My latest rifles are a Bergara B14 Ridge SP .308 , and. Ruger American Ranch 5.56 detachable mag , both with threaded muzzles .
The Tikka line of rifles are fine shooters also, Sako comes out one end and Tikka the other end of the factory. I’ve got Tikkas in 22 L.R. 22-250, 270 Win,30/06 and 338 Fed all are superb shooters.

@@rainsong7327 not bad at all. A little less with the laminate stock as it’s a touch heavier, a Sims air chamber recoil pad will help also if needed.

i know you young fellows love your plastic fancy stocks but us old northern hunters like the warmth and quietness of wood sakos tend to shoot very well and wood ones are beautiful. Ill bet that one shoots great

I really like 2 stage triggers. I like using the first stage to set up the shot. They are still fast for a quick shot.

Since the barrel is threaded at the muzzle I would like to see you try a barrel harmonic tuner on the rifle to see how it affects accuracy.

That's one sweet bing bang! Looking forward to seeing the videos on this one. From the looks of the design of the stock and recoil pad, if you add the muzzle brake, that's gonna be a low recoil sweet shooter.

I have a tikka T3x Hunter in .243, comes from the Sako barn. It was a compromise as I wanted the Sako S20 but wifey wanted the heating fixed 🔥

Congrats on the the new Rifle! I also picked up a Sako S20 in the Precision Configuration chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Be sure to take advantage of the Sako Rebate which ends on 12/31/21 where you can have them send you the Precision Stock if you have the Hunter stock and the Hunter stock if you have the Precision. I am saving up for a Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 Tremor3 for it. Should be getting that in the next couple months.

I have a SAKO S20 Hunter in 6.5 PRC with the single stage trigger and I absolutely LOVE this rifle! It was crazy accurate out of the box with factory Hornady Precision Hunter 143gr ELD-X ammo. I am reloading 143gr ELD-X and I am consistently printing 5/8” groups at 100 yds. By the way (and I’m not advocating being unsafe) I was able to adjust my trigger down to 1lb 8oz and it is super sweet!

That's a beautiful rifle! Did you know you can reset the firing pin by just lifting the bolt handle straight up, then back down again without running the bolt all the way back? Can't wait to see the accuracy of that fine rifle.

Love my Sakos! Have two M85s in 30-06 (Bavarian and Hunter Classic) and a Deluxe in 9.3x62. Like you said on your recent short, the palm swell they use just feels so nice!

Nice rifle haven't them come with a thumbhole stock since the SKS model M. A thumbhole stock feels good on the hand to me.

Nice gun. I have tikka t3x lite veil in 7mm. It shoots the same size groups with Winchester super x or precision hunter. I haven’t found an ammo that it doesn’t like.
Now this is a fun video, I have 2 Sako rifles and buying a 3th. Finally you got it right! Be prepared for sub MOA out of the box. I love my 85 model in 7 mm rem mag Hunter SS with 24" B. Great to shoot.
Pretty sweet rifle that you got there. I have heard nothing but positive things about Sako and their brother brand Tikka. Well aside from the sharp recoil on the lighter rifles in a magnum cartridges. Mostly from the horrible hard buttpad.
I like thumb hole stocks, my CVA Optima has one and as a left hand shooter it helps.
I am interested in how the scope and the cheek comb will line up. It looks high already. Chin weld like.

A sako s20 good man, you caught the sako bug who tee who, i did have a sako a7 in 243 that would print sub moa with factory ammo all day half inch with 85gr hpbt and just over half with sako ammo

Tikka is the same way with buttery smooth actions, and crisp triggers. I have a T3x in .308 and love it.

i have limited my calibers to 30-06, .556, 9mm, and 12 gauge due to logistics. i may have to get a .308 due to new logistical availability.

My all-time favorite rifle is my custom L-461 in .222 Remington. Every single time I take it to the range all the other old guys come over and A. start drooling and B. start making offers to buy it.

Basically inherited my dads vixen .222. Bloody love it.
I have an L-461 with a full-length Mannlicher stock that I inherited from my Dad. It was originally a .222, but at some point was re-chambered to .223 Remington. It is a real beauty and an absolute tack driver.

One of my friend uses that one in 300WM, for driven hunts and longer range stalking hunts in the Alps Mountains (in France). Its a fantastic rifle precisionwise, and he's having a blast using it from last season and on. Good pick WTW ! Looking forward to seeing what kind of clover you can get out of that one...Sako ammo feeds it well, so does Norma from what i've seen....cheers Adam !

Sako makes a good rifle I rember when they came out with a gun chambered in the 6mm PPC that cartridge still dominates the 200 yd benhrest

WTW can't wait to see what sort of groups you get I've seen other videos were it showed not so great groups one video in particular showed a bunch of people shooting it but didn't show what they were shooting at let alone the groups, have to admit it's one sweet looking rifle, might find its probably suited to hand loading???

What is the barrel tenon thread diameter and threads per inch. The threads that screw into the receiver. Consumers may need to replace the barrel after the warranty period and a usable thread for after market barrel makers is a go or no go for getting this rifle.

awsome slinger, I got the 65prc; tried to adjust the trigger but i simply cannot turn the screw. used 2.5mm Allen (page 16 in manual) key CW or CCW to increase or decrease. have you tried adjusting the trigger weight?
