Magnet Fishing UK - Outside Manchester Bars
I magnet fish outside Deansgate Locks which is full of bars and the comedy club to look for lost property.
So i was on my way to manchester to buy a hoodie with my logo on the back so i could advertise my youtube channel whe i go to a magnet fishing competition.
While i was in manchester i went to the afflek palace to buy the hoodie but it took a few hours to make so i decided to go to deasnsgate locks and magnet fish.
While i was there outside the comedy club i found loads of stuff like jewellery , stiletto shoe and even a knife.
I found countless gas cylinders which are used as a legal high, i also found 3 bike locks that had been cut off and dumped.

Careful what you do with all the knives and guns you find, probably every murder weapon used in the Manchester area in the last 20 years in that canal, happy fishing!

Not CO2, its NO2, laughing gas. Sold to go in cream squirters (the sort of thing they put cream on a hot chocolate with in Costa), it's a cheap legal high.

A canal or river is literally the worst place you can throw your battery. People who do that should be ashamed to the bone.

Also wow, apparently there’s a lot of crime and drug use in the area too.. Really sad.. The rivers near me are clean and clear, and you can go swimming if you want, but even here you need to watch out for fishing hooks. Human trash ruins so much..

if your from the UK you can buy rope from Homebase foelr about £3 and use an old subwoofer speaker and then upgrade as you get more into it

Be careful mate, when we were kids we used to make rafts on that canal down near what is White City retail park, we used to throw bricks off the bridge into the water too, one day years later when I was passing there were lots of army trucks and police and the whole area was cordoned off, it was a massive unexploded German bomb exactly where we used to play, we were lucky but there could be more and that magnet would definately do the trick!

With magnets you get what you pay for ao if you buy cheap yoi will get small weak magnets
Ideally you want a 200kg double sided magnet from either online magneta or amazon

those are compressed co2 for bb guns and those been right next to a night club are defo nitrous oxide.

I'm laughing here as at 5:25 you pulled out a knife. An I can't believe it but that's only been in the water looking at when you posted the video maybe 2 weeks. An randomly here I am about 5 months later randomly watching a video that was suggested for me.
That was my fishing knife I was sat on the locks just exploring and getting something out my pocket and next thing heard a plop as it went in the water. That's awesome you've pulled it out in your video.

It's funny you find something constructive and helpful to do and people are very curious and asked you what you're doing all the time. I get the same reaction and sometimes a little worse reaction from people from what I do. I'm a herpetologist AKA reptile Hunter so I go out looking for lots of snakes and when I tell the people what I'm doing with the stick and I'm using because they're curious thought it was a fishing pole at first but then realize that's no fishing pole and being clueless of what it was they ask. Most people are scared of snakes so they're like oh good lord what would you want to go look for snakes for LOL I always laughed and said because I love snakes and I'm doing it for science as well. And they are mostly say that is still crazy. LOL I've been called all kinds of crazy names before 2 and I probably will still keep being called names because of what I love to do. Now if I started magnet fishing I would probably get some rude comments as well here in Florida where we have tons of trash in our Canal systems it would definitely help the ecosystem to do so here in the Lake Okeechobee area in Florida..

Well you would need extensive teaching in the herpetology in Zoology and biology field before you actually go out and do what I do cuz it's something that I have been working on for over 30 years. But it is fun to do once you've learned all the basic stuff and of course you have to learn safety especially around venomous snakes. Without them precautions here in the US you will get bit buy a venomous snake and it will definitely ruin your day. LOL but yeah if I do start magnet fishing I will post them all my TH-cam so all can see it. I need to get me a GoPro. Because all I've been using for all my videos is my cell phone. But I need a computer for my GoPro so I need to work on that first. But yes I will definitely start posting more videos to my wall as soon as I can.

They are nos and they inhale the gas to head a head rush no idea where they are from but someone is making alot of money

Those cylinders are not drug related they are off air soft guns and the thing you thought was a bracelet was I think the remains of a sky lantern
they are noz cylinders due to the location and quantity although you are right about they do sell co2 cylinders to power airguns

These cylinders are the same as co2 for airguns but these ones are filled with NOS and the fill ballons with the gas and breath it in and out and it makes the user light headed but my friends son died for doing it, its wide spread in the uk
