Just did another one of these rings and it turned out amazing! Just some notes: - Make the 20 gauge wires a bit longer so you have more space - The end of the band's weave should have coils in the center wires so that the ring will be the right size. Then you can use a separate wire to attach the outer wires to the middle ones to make it more stable. - Make the ring a tiny bit larger than your finger - Do it on a towel so it won't slip - Don't cut the 28 ga wire too early
Love this design! Made it with a small malachite cab and it was a big hit. A friend sent me a bunch of loose faceted gems and today I tried this design on an shallow emerald cut garnet. Worked so well, couldn't be happier! Thanks Oxana!
I just wanted to pop in and tell you how very much I genuinely appreciate the effort that goes into making these video tutorials, and to thank you for sharing your talent in order to give others the opportunity to learn this wonderful art! Your videos are clear and concise, and your designs are absolutely gorgeous!! So thank you so very much!! I’m thrilled with my ring, and I can’t wait to make another and build on what I’ve learned here today!! 🥰🥰
You are a great teacher Oxana. I've watched many of your videos and you've taught me so much. I'm actually meeting a lady today to sell her one of my earring sets. I've made them a little different than yours but you're the one who taught me to make them. Thanks so much. I'm trying to make crafting my living and I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how much I appreciate all of your time that you've put into making and sharing your videos with us. Much Love...Cindy Jo
Great instruction and beautiful result! I admire your calm directness which I know comes from so much practical experience. You present challenges, but show us that it is possible. Thank you so much for all you share with us.
Just found this video. It’s probably the prettiest pattern of wire wrapping that I’ve seen .... can’t decide if I want to learn how to do this or hire someone to make me one, hint hint ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ho visto poche cose così belle!!! Amo il wire e mi sto sperimentando da poco ma non ce la farò mai a fare una cosa così bella 😢. Bravissima!!! Grazie per aver condiviso il tuo capolavoro 😍
Oxana your work is absolutely gorgeous I have started watching your videos yesterday and I think I'm hooked...just getting into wire wrapping and I must say your videos are very well demonstrated as well as informative...looking forward to watching more videos as well as maybe trying some of the beginner projects thank you so much you are very talented.
That is absolutely stunning. I love the color of the cabochon. Just beautiful work Oxana! You have a fan for life! I have been looking at your tutorials and they are brilliant! Merci Beaucoup!
Oxanna Honey, I can tell you are young, but you should be quite proud of yourself. So many of the designs on TH-cam get repeated and rehashed (though I don't mean to be putting anyone down), but I have seen so many bright, new ideas, fresh new designs w/o a lot of clutter (frills) from you. I love it! A very famous designer once made the statement, "Less is more!" You will never go wrong remembering that when off in that "wonderful, magical land of design"! I know that place, I've spent a large part of my life there. Do me a favor, work on a simple, caged cabochon ring. I know you have one version; try for another.
Thank you, unfortunately I have not been able to find the time to keep making videos, but if I get the chance to in the future I will do one on a more simple ring with less weaving because I do make more simple ones now.
Love your tutorials, I really like all the basic ideas then I can create my own style, but the basics are excellent! Keep making great tutorials and I'll keep watching and recommending to friends! Thanks Oxanna 🍀👏🍀
Oxana. You are very creative, I finally got it right on the second try! Boy, it's not easy at all. Thank you so much for your tutorials. I try everything as therapy for living in chronic pain. So I truly appreciate a good tutorial!Stuff like this, is what is keeping me alive. If you don't mind, where did you learn this?? I'd appreciate the info. Thank you.
Liliana Elliot I think I should have private messaged that . Again I also am finding enjoyment in wire wrapping since being chronically ill. It has really been helping me too. Have fun, hope you feel good🙋
very beautiful!!!! I tried it for the very first time today after watching your video. Mine came out a bit sloppy and messy, I can't seem to figure out how to weave properly without the wire getting tangled with each other and moving in my main wire. I was able to secure the stone, but I'm still worried it will fall out. Thank you for sharing this video with us. :)
Thank you! I am sure it will get better and better each time you make it! My very first pieces were quite sloppy and it took me a bit of time to get better at it.
have you tried using kumihimo bobbins? my weaving got much less sloppy after using them...also with this six wire band have you tried making lil loops on the middle 2 wires? bend the outer two wires out, then leave the next wire in strait and the middle two with opposing loops.....really helps me with a six base wire weave anyway
Hi Oxana! Is it possible to do this with 24 gauge as your weaving wire? Wondering because I apparently ordered the wrong gauge on accident & it came in today. What's your thoughts?
Hi, I love all your videos because of the way you teach. I'm really interested in getting started with parawire and I'd like to know if this wire is good for making ear wires.
I do not have much experience making ear wires, but Parawire sells all sort of wire types. I would imagine something like sterling silver would be good for that, they also sell coated wire that is colored on the outside, not sure how well that would work for ear wires as the coating can wear off over time.
Thank you for your wonderful handmade. You prepared 3 wires, please tell me the length.I'm Japanese and couldn't hear about the length.I also want to challenge.
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. UNBELIEVABLY TALENTED. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP & HARD WORK 💙💎💙

Thank you! :) I am all self taught. I just keep experimenting with wire until I figure out something new.

Liliana Elliot Hi Liliana, I read what you wrote and it is exactly what I feel. Just had to comment. Lisa

kumihimo bobbibs? I never heard of it. I actually haven't tried to re-do this again. I have focused more on pendants. Thank you for your response :)
Love this!! Thank you again Oxana!!
Wauw it's so beautiful ❤️🙏
what an awesome work... love the design, thank yo for sharing, would you make a bracelate that goes with the ring. thank you

Bellísimo!!! Felicitaciones
So pretty!
thank you!

Lovely 😊
Beautiful!
Puede ser en castellano es muy lindoooo gracias
Hi Oxana! Is it possible to do this with 24 gauge as your weaving wire? Wondering because I apparently ordered the wrong gauge on accident & it came in today. What's your thoughts?
I think 24 might be too thick to use as a weaving wire, but you can try. I have seen people weave with 24 for bracelets
Making loops on coiled wire pulled my wire loose.
do u self ur stuff!? I think there beautiful!!
Thank you! Yes, I do. I see it on my facebook page facebook.com/oxanacrafts
Thank u I'll be heading to the page now!!

Awesomeness!!!!!!!!
Is the wire half hard wire?🥴
It is dead soft
Omg there is no way I could make this ring. It looks like a $200 ring.
👏👏👏😘
Thanks look awesome! !#
Meraviglioso grazie 👏👏
good
Bellissimo!
I tried making this but mine came out sloppy :(
Aww, sorry, keep trying and I am sure you will get it!
Thank you for your wonderful handmade. You prepared 3 wires, please tell me the length.I'm Japanese and couldn't hear about the length.I also want to challenge.
The length of those wires is 10 inches each wire
Ermoso
СПАСИБО!!!!
God BLESS YOU
should've put Vaseline Into the opening so the wires slide right through
I never thought of it!
I kinda hate the way they resemble eyes. I'd rather have it circular. I call them eye ball rings. But its pretty, no doubt 🧐.❤️❤️❤️
Eye ball rings 🤣 lol
Супер !
